When you apply and rub it in, your face might look pale at first, but if you gently pat it, it absorbs quickly and leaves your skin feeling hydrated It's on the pricey side, but it's packed with vitamin-rich ingredients. After using it for over a week, I noticed my complexion looked brighter - he****Dry SkinJan 24, 2023
The fragrance, application, and absorption were excellent. Only a small amount is needed to cover the entire face. It doesn't seem to provide much hydration, so I feel like I need to apply an additional moisturizer. - eu*******Dry SkinRecommendedNov 13, 2022
Absorbs smoothly Excellent for combination dehydrated skin and extremely dry skin Pleasant aromatherapy scent The only downside is the price and quantity Haven't found another product that absorbs and applies as well as this one yet - dl****Dry SkinInner DrynessRecommendedNov 11, 2022
Perfect texture and divine scent! The consistency is thick but not overly heavy, allowing for smooth application. Highly recommended for dry skin types seeking to create a protective oil barrier. When applied generously at night, it significantly improves skin condition by morning. An excellent choice for those with dry skin looking to maintain hydration during the winter season. This isn't ideal as a base for makeup application. If you do use it before makeup, you'll need to apply an extremely thin layer, which unfortunately compromises its hydrating effectiveness. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 16, 2022
I received a sample and used it at night after cleansing. The next morning, I went to work bare-faced, and my colleagues asked what I'd done because my skin texture looked so much better. I was so impressed that I went straight to the store the next day to buy it. I love how it finishes matte without any oiliness. The store employee said it was a regenerating cream, and I think that's accurate. When my skin is super sensitive, applying this once in a while calms it down and changes the texture. Although it's quite pricey for its size, I've been using it for a while now! It's also great when mixed with Aesop toner as a night cream. After trying the sample, I went to the store the next day expecting to pay around $70-$80, but was shocked when it turned out to be $140. However, having already experienced the difference, I think it's worth trying at this price. It does last quite a long time. When you first apply it, it doesn't absorb immediately into the skin, like an ointment. But they say that's because Aesop, like with their hand creams that apply white, doesn't use artificial ingredients to make it absorb quickly. So I spend time applying it along my skin texture and then pat it in at the end to help it absorb. I don't recommend it as a base before makeup because it finishes so matte that when you apply foundation or cushion, it leaves clumpy marks as if you've used a fixer. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 13, 2021
It seems to tackle deep dryness effectively. Once applied, it absorbs completely without any oily residue. If anything, it leaves a slightly tight feeling on the skin. As expected, the price is a concern. At 140,000 won, it's actually enough for a dermatology treatment. I'm really hesitant about repurchasing. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 20, 2020
Anyone familiar with deep dryness will likely appreciate this... It feels like it penetrates deep into the skin. A perfect match when used with propolis essence. The Aesop fragrance counteracts the strong smell of propolis. Hmm... The price is a bit disappointing... But that's typical for Aesop... - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedNov 19, 2020
The hydration was better than I expected! There's a slight cooling sensation like mint, but it wasn't as thick as I thought it would be when applying. If you don't have extremely dry skin, I think you'll be pretty satisfied with this! Of course, since this wasn't quite enough for me, I layered some oil on top of it. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedNov 7, 2020
As someone with very dry skin, I've been using this product for years because it doesn't cause any blemishes, even though it's not quite moisturizing enough for me While it seems to provide good hydration, it doesn't last long, so I need to reapply frequently. This makes it a bit expensive in the long run - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 9, 2020
The cream has a rich texture but absorbs completely. It doesn't take long to absorb, which is great. Once it's fully absorbed, it feels like a protective layer on the skin. If you have very dry skin, this might help you brave even the harshest winter winds. I didn't think my skin was that sensitive, but this cream proved me wrong. As soon as I applied it, there was a burning sensation everywhere the cream touched. I considered washing it off. The tingling subsided after absorption, and my skin didn't turn red. I'll need to keep an eye out for any allergic reactions. If it suits your skin, make sure to let it absorb thoroughly. The hydration is so good that you might be able to face the biting cold winds of winter without worry.
