Once applied, it absorbs completely without any oily residue. If anything, it leaves a slightly tight feeling on the skin.
ConsAs expected, the price is a concern. At 140,000 won, it's actually enough for a dermatology treatment. I'm really hesitant about repurchasing.

It feels like it penetrates deep into the skin. A perfect match when used with propolis essence. The Aesop fragrance counteracts the strong smell of propolis.
ConsHmm... The price is a bit disappointing... But that's typical for Aesop...

This winter, I finally settled on one after years of searching. While this winter hasn't been as harsh and I've spent less time outdoors, the fact that this cream kept my skin blemish-free and less worried about dryness all winter is impressive enough. I emptied a jar in just 3 months, which tells me it struck the perfect balance of oil and moisture. Despite being one of the pricier creams from this brand and appearing rich, it surprisingly doesn't overwhelm with oiliness. Aesop creams are known for their slow absorption, making it unusual to finish a jar in 3 months, but I used this one up quickly - perhaps because it's less greasy? I've been using Aesop's Primrose Cream for spring and fall for 6 years, but comparing the two recently during this transitional season, this one feels more hydrating yet less oily than the Primrose. I'm considering repurchasing it to use instead of Primrose for spring and fall, but oh, that price... it makes me want to scold someone. I'll decide after using Primrose for a few more days.
ConsThe price seriously makes you think twice about buying it. Even after using several samples, I hesitated to purchase. As mentioned above, while I feel it performs better than the existing line, the truly wicked price still makes me hesitate to repurchase. Aesop isn't a cheap brand to begin with, but this is one of their pricier products. What's worse, it has a short shelf life of only 9 months after opening, so I'm worried about repurchasing during this brief transitional season and potentially having to throw it away before finishing... Another issue is the cream's yellow color, which slightly tints the face when applied. If you wipe your face with a tissue after it's absorbed, you'll see a yellow tint. It's not extremely noticeable, but for a cream, it definitely has a color.
TipSurprisingly, you can apply a generous amount. If you wait a bit after application, it absorbs completely.

It absorbs into the skin within a minute or two without patting. It's a must-have item for me as it eliminates deep dryness. I'll definitely repurchase, 100%!
ConsThe high price and long absorption time are drawbacks, but I'll keep using it because it eliminates that tight feeling on my skin.
