While it's called Hard Cover Glow Cushion, its coverage isn't particularly strong. However, it's more hydrating than any other cushion that claims to be moisturizing. I've tried all the supposedly hydrating cushions out there, but many failed as my cheeks and forehead would get too dry over time. This cushion, though? I've gone through three refills. It's a bit too dewy for summer, making it perfect for winter use. If you have dry skin, love a dewy complexion, and often hear compliments about your skin, I'd highly recommend this. Despite being called Hard Cover, it doesn't provide great coverage. I'm using it mainly because I'm satisfied with how hydrating it is. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 20, 2019
Adheres well to the skin Glides on smoothly Not overpowering scent Built-in puff is great Didn't cause any blemishes even on my super sensitive skin Tends to look patchy if your skin condition is slightly off The amount seems a bit small If you have oily or combination skin, avoid using this in summer You'll have the fascinating experience of watching your cushion transform into oil It's an absolutely fantastic cushion for winter use - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 24, 2019
Skin type - Dry, Very dry (shades 13-21) I was looking for a cushion foundation and decided to try the Holika Holika Hard Cover Glow Cushion :) I bought it because I heard it was moisturizing! Plus, the color was absolutely gorgeous ♥ The ivory shade beautifully enhances the skin and gives a radiant complexion -! It's not only hydrating but also has decent staying power. However, in midsummer, it can look a bit shiny, so I always made sure to set it with powder ~ It doesn't seem like they sell refills separately :( Also, while it does have a glow and feels moisturizing, it's more of an oily shine?? If you apply this cushion over a rich skincare base, it creates a glow that sits on top of the skin -! So when I use this cushion, I tend to keep my skincare routine simple. Oh, and after using this cushion, I noticed some red spots or something appearing on my skin :( - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 3, 2019
I love how it feels so lightweight when applied!!! The downside is that if you go out soon after application, the cushion foundation wears off quickly and you need to reapply. - du*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 31, 2019
- As a cushion, it's great for quick touch-ups. The best part is that it sits beautifully on the skin without needing to do anything extra when reapplying. - The coverage is pretty decent. - Although it's supposed to be a glow cushion, it doesn't give a pretty glow. Instead, it just makes you look like you're covered in grease. - For me, it seemed to cause significant darkening. It's probably more due to oil coming to the surface rather than actual darkening, but as time passed, it made me look increasingly pale. This might work well for those with dry skin, but I wouldn't recommend it for oily skin types, especially those with combination dehydrated skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 24, 2019
It's wonderfully hydrating, which is perfect for my dry skin. I'm really satisfied with how naturally it covers. The staying power isn't great, and the coverage is a bit on the lighter side. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 10, 2019
Unlike many products that feel dry, this hard-cover cushion is pleasantly moisturizing Perhaps due to its hydrating nature, the coverage is slightly less than desired - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 7, 2019
I use shade 21-22 with a yellow base, and I heard this product tends to be on the brighter side. While it is indeed bright, it doesn't create a stark line between my neck and face. Instead, it evens out my complexion naturally. It covers redness well and even conceals most of my acne scars. The adherence and longevity are excellent! I have combination skin that's almost dry, with only a bit of oil on my nose and drought-like dryness elsewhere. When I use this cushion with just skin emulsion underneath, it feels incredibly hydrating without being sticky. I think it'll work well even in summer if I keep my skincare routine light. I wish there were more shade options available... After using it for 7 more months, including summer, I have to say it's not ideal for hot weather. Aside from the sweat issue, the oil production is out of control. My makeup separates and it's a mess. Blotting with tissues and reapplying helps, but let's use something else for summer... This cushion looks beautiful when applied in thin layers! Don't use all the product from one tap for your whole face. Instead, divide it and apply gradually. The puff actually holds quite a bit of product, so you can use the residual amount for your nose and chin. If you find it too light, try mixing it with a darker concealer or foundation by placing some under the cushion sponge. Just make sure not to overfill it - add a bit after you've used the product for a while. - 03*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 22, 2018
1. I had trouble finding a light shade, but this one matches my skin perfectly. 2. Got it during a buy-one-get-one-free deal with a refill for just $20 - great value for money! 3. No blemishes!!! This is the most important thing for me. Hmm... It's too glowy for summer use. My skin gets oily. The makeup doesn't last long and tends to slide off. Works well in fall and winter! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinOct 21, 2018
Honestly, there's nothing good about it. Total regret. For combination and oily skin types with visible pores, it's really not great. It seriously emphasizes blemishes and dead skin cells like crazy. It's greasy but far from moisturizing - an all-time disappointing product that I regret buying. Just choose something else. I think the stearic acid in this made my pores look larger. Not impressed at all.
