Soothing Effect I honestly didn't have high expectations when I tried this product, as my skin is acne-prone. But when I only used the soothing essence without any other soothing moisturizer, the next day the reddish acne that had flared up from the mask and makeup was calmed down. I've been using it daily ever since! 2. No Pilling I'm usually not a user of soothing gels, but after a friend's product caused pilling for me in the past, I've avoided them. But this product doesn't pill at all, even when I apply it generously, so I make sure to use it morning and night. 3. Smooth Application It applies just as smoothly as other soothing gels. After application, my skin feels plump. Even though my skin is quite dry, I've never experienced any makeup pilling when using this. 4. Fragrance Fragrance is usually a hit-or-miss, but this product is fragrance-free, so I had no issues using it comfortably. 5. Absorption I apply a moderate amount in the morning and a generous amount at night. When I pat it in, it absorbs well and leaves my skin feeling supple afterwards.
Cons6. Moisturizing Power Since my skin is a bit dehydrated and prone to tightness, I always use this product along with other products, so using it alone might not be enough for me. 7. Cooling Effect It's said to have a cooling effect on the skin, but I personally didn't feel a significant cooling sensation.
TipA moderate amount in the morning, a generous amount at night!

If I use the wrong cosmetics, I get pimples... So I can't just try basic cosmetics carelessly. The weather is getting hotter and my T-zone is getting oily too... It was time to change my cream, so I tried using a gentle cosmetic that's even safe for newborns, after hearing it was good. Absorption: The texture felt a bit thick when applying, perhaps because it has a dense, bouncy feel. So I patted it in gently, and it didn't take too long to absorb. There was no sticky residue at all!!! And just as described, my face felt refreshed right after applying. Moisturizing: At first, when I only applied it once, my face felt a bit taut for a few hours. It felt smooth on the surface, but there was some underlying dryness. But as I kept using it, the tightness gradually decreased, though it was still there a bit, so I ended up applying it one more time later on. Blemishes: Since it's a gentle formula, I didn't get any breakouts at all!!! I was so happy about that! Scent: It's unscented~ The lack of fragrance really reinforced how gentle this product is, and made me trust it even more. I found it interesting to rub the calamine beads and watch them burst! Even as an adult, I couldn't help but keep trying it out. I shook the bottle a few times before use to make sure lots of the beads came out.
ConsThere's still a bit of underlying dryness, but other than that, I don't have any major complaints - I really liked it overall.
TipSo I applied it again or mixed a bit into an essence or cream, and that made it feel even more moisturizing. Haha.

There are calamine particles in the transparent gel, and they spread smoothly without any grittiness when applied. There is a cooling sensation when applied, but it's a subtle, gentle cooling sensation, not an intense, irritating one, which I really liked. I tend to have sensitive skin and constantly deal with skin troubles, but I've been using this product well without any skin flare-ups or new breakouts. The soothing ingredients seem to be effective, as the redness has gone away and the skin-calming effects are noticeable.
ConsThe slightly sticky feeling when applying is a bit disappointing. It doesn't get absorbed immediately, but once fully absorbed, the stickiness does go away and the skin feels plump. I've been applying it generously morning and night, but I've been gradually feeling some dryness. So I've been adding an extra layer in the drier areas. Compared to my previous skincare products, if I just apply the soothing gel at night after cleansing and go to bed, my skin can look a bit shiny the next morning. It's not an excessive oiliness, but being prone to breakouts, I do tend to keep an eye on it.

Before using, I had some small pimples on my forehead (take medication once or twice a year) and a slight atopic dermatitis above my eyebrows (sensitive). I used the product only on my face, not on my body. What I liked: First of all, when I look at a product, I check if it has any harmful ingredients. This product has no harmful ingredients, which is a good thing. And when a product doesn't suit my skin, I usually experience itchiness, irritation, breakouts, or poor skin texture, but I didn't have any of those issues when using this product. So I plan to use it consistently. Compared to other gel products, the great thing about this one is the moisturizing effect. The formulation seems to have a higher concentration among gel products. Compared to the previous product I used, this one has better moisturizing longevity. The cooling effect is good. I was thinking of refrigerating it, but I ended up using it at room temperature, and the cooling effect was still satisfactory. Since it contains calamine, my forehead pimples subsided. I like that it's fragrance-free! Some sensitive skin products sometimes add a small amount of oil, which I'm not a fan of, so I much prefer this fragrance-free version.
ConsThe downside is that it feels a bit sticky for body use, so I'm hesitant to use it on my body. In fact, when I used it on my face and then applied makeup, the stickiness didn't bother me, but for the body, it might be uncomfortable since you wear clothes. When using it on the face, I think it's better to use a diluted toner or skin first. I applied it right after showering and cooling my face, and after some time, the surface felt like it had a film, but the inside felt a bit tight. It was fine when I used it on the atopic dermatitis area, but when I accidentally scratched it during cleansing and then applied the product, there was a slight stinging sensation. The calamine is in granular form, but I think it would have been better if it was more evenly distributed throughout the product.
TipIn the summer, using this product as the final step after applying skin or toner about three times would be just perfect.
