It's perfect for using in the summer. When squeezed, pink granules come out too, and when applied, they melt away smoothly without any roughness.

Although it's a soothing gel, it has moisturizing capsules inside, so it felt a bit different from other soothing gels. When you apply the granules to your skin, they melt and get absorbed into the skin. And I'm not sure if this is a characteristic of soothing gels, but when you first apply it, there's a slight stickiness, but after a while, the applied area becomes soft and smooth. The color is transparent, which is nice. The moisturizing capsules are pink, so kids like them. When you squeeze it out, you can see the capsules and apply them.

Homes with young children need essential products all year round, except for the dead of winter. I had high expectations for the soothing gel from Botanicotherapy, and it has certainly lived up to my satisfaction! ✔ Texture: A transparent gel with small pink granules (which are apparently soothing ingredients) ✔ Application: The granules are not felt at all when applied, and it spreads smoothly. It doesn't absorb immediately, leaving a slightly sticky sensation (a common feature of soothing gels). There is an immediate cooling sensation upon application. ✔ Efficacy: The soothing ingredients and cooling effect are definitely present!!!!! After a weekend outing, I applied it to my flushed skin and felt it gradually soothing and cooling. It also quickly calmed down mosquito bites. When I applied it to only one arm and turned on a fan, the treated side felt significantly cooler. I also used it on my child's heat rash, and it worked great. My child, who usually gets frequent heat rashes, didn't develop any new ones after I started applying it regularly. They didn't want me to share photos, though...haha.

As the weather gets warmer, this soothing gel is a must-have. As you can see, this soothing gel has little beads in it. When you apply it, the beads burst open and disappear quickly. However, I feel like the beads don't burst open as easily as I expected.😅 It seems like they've made the beads using calamine powder, a soothing ingredient. But I think I would have preferred if the gel was already pink and evenly mixed, without the beads. I wonder if making it into capsules would improve the effectiveness? I love the scent and the texture. I'm someone who really dislikes strong fragrances and artificial ingredients, so this basic, gentle soothing gel is perfect for me. When you apply it, it feels refreshing and absorbs well, so I think it would work great as a body product too. It might be even more effortless to use than aloe vera gel.

It has a nice fragrance and is refreshing. The gel type may be sticky, but it's not as sticky as typical gel types, which is a good thing. The moisturizing power is also good, and the ingredients are great, so it can be used on newborns, and I'm using it generously with my child with confidence.👍 I have allergies, and when I apply it to areas that itch, it doesn't make me scratch as much, which seems to be a good thing.
