I* bought the Galapagos* Shadow Cheapie which is famous, and after applying the eyeliner, it's great for removing it.

If you just want a similar color, the cheaper version would be a good option, but those who were really attached to the original will likely not be fully satisfied.
Looking at it, the old version does seem pretty similar.

I've experienced the discontinuation of so many holy grail products that it's now a bit tiring to even talk about them. But I thought the Nars Galapagos would never be discontinued... I honestly never even imagined it. It's not an unusual color, and it sells well across both Eastern and Western markets.
I ended up buying a cheaper alternative after reading about the discontinuation, and while it's not bad by any means, it's a bit different from the Galapagos. The base color, pearl size, and the way the pearls are layered all have some differences. 
The alternative is less red and has a higher brightness in the base color, and the pearl shimmer is more pronounced. 
I compared them extensively, trying different combinations, and I think the best way for me is to just pack it on thickly all over, even doing the undereye liner, and then just go with a brick-like application.

I'm only using it to help with eyeliner, and to be honest, I'm very satisfied. 😆
It's a bit more reddish than Nas. But for someone like me with an autumn warm undertone, it seems to suit me even better.
2️⃣ The pigmentation is strong and the blending is good, making it easy to create shadows.

The powder tends to fly around a bit, so I have to shake the brush a few times before using it.

I am using it very well as an eyeliner remover, and the pearlescent finish looks natural.

There is some fallout, so you need to be careful when blending it on your eyes to prevent it from getting into your eyes.

I bought it because I thought the color would look good on top of the eyeliner. The subtle golden pearl in the eyeshadow looked beautiful, so I thought it would look pretty on my eyes too, but it didn't show up as much as I expected. The application isn't super smooth, but it's decent. I'm not sure if it's because of the golden pearl, but it doesn't glide on very smoothly and doesn't blend out as softly, but the color payoff is great and the color itself is so pretty.

It's not meant to be applied broadly, but rather used in a localized manner, so there's no shimmery residue left behind.

Purchased a piece of the most famous item, tiramisu.
It's famous for helping with eyeliner application and filling in the triangular zone, so I bought it. I thought it would be matte, but it was shimmery, which was unexpected. The color is pretty and it's just as small as a mouse dropping, so I'll probably use it for the rest of my life.

I immediately bought the 'Nas Galapagos' because it was cheap. It's really the best... the best... It's great for blending after applying the eyeliner. For those who have trouble removing eyeliner, you can first draw the line with this and then blend it - it will be perfect... Everyone should definitely buy it...ㅜㅜ

A lot of people might be buying the Galapagos cheaper version, but if the Galapagos is the complete bark color of a tree, this one is the slightly faded bark color of a dried-up tree.

I used to use the Galapagos, but I bought a cheaper one because I didn't want to waste the money I spent on it.
The color is the same, but the pigmentation is weaker, so you have to apply it several times to get the same Galapagos feel.
It's perfect for using as an eyeliner softener.

While I was very satisfied with this product and could use it without issue, it ended up causing contact dermatitis for me, leading to itchy eyes, eczema-like flaking and swelling, and an overall inability to continue using it. I'm not sure if this is just a personal reaction or a more common issue. I'm now looking to try Nars products instead, which is a shame.

The color versatility, pigmentation, and longevity of this product are said to be comparable to the more affordable Nars Galapagos line, though I can't personally attest to that since I haven't tried it. In any case, I was extremely satisfied with the price-to-performance ratio of this product.
