Compared to wash-off masks from other brands, this one has a superior texture that makes it so easy to apply evenly on the skin. It contains gentle exfoliating particles that aren't too harsh, and after rinsing, I noticed a temporary but noticeable brightening effect on my complexion. The tingling sensation was unbearable... As soon as I applied it, the burning was so intense I thought I might die. Even with lukewarm water, it stung, so I had to rinse with cold water to soothe my skin, which helped a bit. After cleansing, the washcloth is full of green residue and particles, which is quite inconvenient. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMar 26, 2022
The subtle scent of mugwort gives it a healthy feel, and it absorbs beautifully into the skin. There's no noticeable effect, so it feels like a waste of money. I'm not sure if it's actually soothing my skin. - es****Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityMay 7, 2021
This review is based on using the entire jar of the product. Application: Unlike other masks that dry quickly after application, this one doesn't dry out easily, making it comfortable to use even in winter. My skin didn't feel dry after use. Value for money: Frequent discounts make it possible to purchase at a reasonable price. Scent: There's a subtle mugwort fragrance that's neither too strong nor too faint - just a pleasant, delicate scent. Soothing effect: Despite containing young mugwort extract, which I expected would help calm the skin, the soothing effect wasn't significant. I felt that a single sheet mask was actually more effective in this regard. Sebum control: Compared to other wash-off masks, it didn't excel in sebum control or absorption. User experience: The jar packaging made it difficult to use hygienically. Also, when rinsing off, the sink got dirty easily, requiring frequent cleaning. Overall, it was hard to find any major advantages compared to other wash-off masks. - ok*******Dry SkinRecommendedAug 21, 2020
I can't understand why this product was discontinued... Isn't a mask a skincare essential? This is a rough wash-off pack similar to mugwort mud types that really draws out excess oil, and it's great for soothing the skin! I always use it on days when I have blemishes or my skin feels extra oily. I only have enough left for one more use, which is such a shame! Even though I bought it on sale, the product's nature means you can't use it many times. Being in a jar format also contributes to using it up quickly. If you apply it generously, you end up using the whole tub in about five or six applications. Wash-off masks are really beneficial for the skin, especially in summer when I rely solely on this type of mask. I believe they'll bring it back with upgrades because it's surprisingly hard to find masks like this one. - hi**********Dry SkinJun 1, 2020
I received this as a gift from a Korean friend. The herb-like scent was quite appealing. Its texture was soft and creamy, with some ground leaves mixed in. While I can't speak to its cleansing effectiveness, it definitely left my skin feeling smooth and soft after rinsing. I never experienced any irritation, so I'd say this product was very gentle on the skin. Unfortunately, this product has been discontinued. Washing it off was a bit of a hassle, as it left quite a bit of debris in the sink. If you're not a fan of grass-like scents, this might not be for you. It didn't offer any noticeable brightening, hydration, or soothing effects on my complexion. - an*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedApr 14, 2020
My skin feels so soft after using this. If your skin agrees with mugwort, you'll probably love it! It's a bit of a struggle to wash off. Even after cleansing multiple times, some residue remains. You definitely need to follow up with an exfoliating toner. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 30, 2019
# Skin Type My skin is thin with visible veins, making it sensitive. I have combination dehydrated skin with pores in the T-zone and very dry U-zone and around the mouth! Before the magic, my skin was at its worst for a week + blemishes. Two weeks after starting the magic, my skin improved! Light shade 21 / Slight sagging due to early aging :( # The texture and scent are like freshly ground mugwort ♡ It feels healthy, so I enjoy using it every time # When skin is rough + oily before the magic This mask solves everything in one go The particles are on the coarser side, so it's effective for dead skin cell removal It also absorbs excess oil well It seems to have a moisturizing effect There's an instant brightening effect right after use # I recommend applying a thin layer At first, I applied it thickly because the texture was so nice It took all day to dry And all day to wash off :( The particles can be a bit rough, so pressing too hard can damage your skin Always apply and rinse gently # It really makes the sink messy when using No matter how clean you try to be, the mugwort-colored water gets everywhere It's even worse if you apply it thickly :( # If you have thin skin, don't use more than once a week! You might damage your skin trying to remove excess oil Even if you cleanse gently, frequent use Can easily lead to seborrheic dermatitis :( - tn*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMar 7, 2019
I switched from the Shrek pore pack to this one when I saw it on sale online. Using it once a week, I've noticed my face becomes smoother and feels great afterward. As it dries, there's a slight tightening sensation, but once you wash it off, your face feels refreshed. The only downside is that it's a wash-off pack, which can be a bit of a hassle. It can get messy and splash around the sink when you're rinsing it off. Some people dislike the scent, but I actually enjoy the mugwort fragrance. When it's dry and you're washing it off, gently massage the granules on your face for a nice scrub without irritation. It works wonders for exfoliation. - vi*********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinInner DrynessRecommendedJan 9, 2019
After using it, my skin texture really becomes soft. It seems to have an effect on removing dead skin cells. I liked that it wasn't irritating. While it's a decent mask, perhaps because I was expecting it to soothe blemishes, I wasn't particularly satisfied. It's a wash-off type, which was a bit of a hassle, and it's also quite expensive. I set an alarm 10 minutes before I need to get up, apply the mask, and then wash it off when I actually wake up. When I do my makeup after this routine, it goes on much better. - tl********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 23, 2018
I've been using this for almost 6 months, and it's become my holy grail! When my blemishes, blackheads, or whiteheads are at their worst, applying this immediately calms my skin. By the morning, they've significantly subsided! It works hard to soothe my skin overnight. I was really disappointed to learn that it contains two not-so-great ingredients. Apart from that, it's great!
