True to its creamy nature, it glides on smoothly. The color has a sophisticated vibe, perfect for creating a statement look. Due to its softness, it tends to cling to dry patches on the lips. It also has a distinct chocolate scent. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedJan 28, 2021
It has a lovely deep burgundy-purple hue with a moisturizing application. If you're into rich, intense colors, you'd love this. Sadly, it's been discontinued... It has a different vibe from Diva, but it's a shade I can't let go of because it's discontinued and I can't get it anymore. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 9, 2020
This is truly the perfect shade for winter skin that tends to wash out most colors. The application is smooth, and for a lipstick, it's much less likely to accentuate dry, flaky lips. As with most lipsticks, it tends to wear off unevenly in the center after eating or drinking... - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 12, 2019
It's a deep purple with a hint of magenta. Under department store lighting, I applied it to my upper and lower lips, with the Diva shade appearing darker on the upper lip. One swipe gives a subtle look, but two layers create a bold, trendy vibe. It's perfect for edgy makeup looks. I'd recommend this to cool-toned winter complexions. It's easier to apply than matte lipsticks. It tends to transfer quite a bit when drinking. While it stays put when you're not moving your mouth, it seems to come off easily when anything touches your lips. It pairs beautifully with muted purple eyeshadow for a coordinated look. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMar 24, 2018
No flaky dead skin cells at all - it's so hydrating! Love the cocoa scent. It's an honest burgundy with a purple undertone. The transfer is insane - I can't even drink water without leaving marks everywhere. I'm starting to resent the friends who bought this for me. Might come in handy for a Halloween costume when I go to return it though. Try applying it on the inner part of your lips and a red lipstick on the outer part for a wearable daily look. I'd love to wear it as a full lip color, but I don't have the courage yet. - bi**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedAug 28, 2017
This product is my holy grail! It applies with great color payoff and I love that it's not matte. (I've indicated in the photo how many swipes each swatch is) Be sure to clean the lipstick surface regularly, or dead skin cells from your lips will build up on it. For a budget-friendly alternative, Aritaum's cushion tint Trinity is similar. Trinity has a more matte finish and deeper color payoff! (It becomes less matte after three layers though) It also pairs beautifully with NARS Intrigue! I think I may have used this past its expiration date because I forgot to note when I first opened it. I'm not sure if it's because it expired or just due to the summer heat, but it melted in the summer and even in winter when I had it near a heat pack. Once it melts, no amount of freezing can save it. As you use it, the base of the product tends to crack and break off on its own. The lipstick wobbles every time I use it now. The distinct scent. I don't like the chocolate-like smell. If you're sensitive to scents, give it a sniff before buying. If it bothers you, it'll keep bothering you endlessly. Since lipsticks come into direct contact with your lips, it's good to clean them daily to prevent bacterial growth. Alternatively, you can freeze them overnight to somewhat inhibit bacterial growth! I find lipsticks the hardest to keep track of expiration dates. So I've started writing the date of first use on a label and sticking it to the lipstick.
