  Pros

  My skin used to always have issues with base makeup due to dryness, redness, heat sensitivity, and dead skin cells, but since finding this product, my makeup doesn't flake off anymore. It's perfect for correcting my yellow cool-toned complexion, improving skin texture, and providing sun protection all in one! People say I look like a peeled egg... (in a good way!) If I apply a very thin layer of base makeup over this, I can achieve a clear skin look. I want to use this forever.

  Cons

  The packaging is quite rigid... The price is a bit high...? But it's still okay..

  Tip

  Since my cheeks are dry, I layer it twice on my cheeks during winter.

  This is a sample review after using the product. I consider myself to have cool-toned skin. I've tried similar products like Strop cream, Burberry's base, and Innisfree's cherry blossom brightening moisturizer, but among all I've used, this one is my absolute favorite! The lilac color seems to match my skin perfectly. After application, my complexion becomes so radiant and clear, it's truly impressive. It's not just a simple tone-up; it makes my skin look healthy and flawless, giving an Inner Glow that appears pure, luminous, and refreshing from within!!! I'm absolutely thrilled with it~ The UV protection isn't low either, and it feels like applying a hydrating cream. I love how it keeps my skin deeply moisturized with a slight richness on the surface.

  Cons

  While it's excellent at enhancing makeup colors, it doesn't seem to improve longevity... In this era of mask-wearing, makeup bases are bound to fail anyway, but by evening, the foundation on top seems to break down unattractively.

  Tip

  Rather than using it as a base under foundation, it's better utilized as a base for a bare-faced look!

  Pros

  After applying this product and using Giorgio Armani's Silk Lasting Foundation, my complexion looks translucent with a beautiful glow. I have dry skin, but this absorbs well and allows for a moisturized skin appearance, which is why I always use this product.

  Cons

  Above all, the price is truly wicked, and those with oily skin might find it feels a bit rich.

  Pros

  When squeezed out, the color is a deep purple, but it's so hydrating that when applied, it gives a slight brightening effect and creates a translucent skin appearance! I use it as a hydrating base and I'm on my third tube. My skin is combination dehydrated, and when I use other bases, primers, or correcting products, even with a solid skincare routine, my foundation tends to separate or pill a bitㅠㅠ But when I use this product for my base makeup, it's like second skin? It's not an oily glow or dewy finish, but more of a soft, plump look. I'm not sure if it's just me, but I feel like it even improves the longevity of my makeup!

  Cons

  There's not really anything to complain about, but I checked Hwahae and it seems there are 6 ingredients to be cautious of!? I didn't know... However, I've never experienced any blemishes from it.

  Tip

  For my skincare routine, since I have combination dehydrated skin, I apply toner and essence generously, then a small amount of emulsion. I skip the cream step, let everything absorb thoroughly, and then apply this product.

  It gives a nice glow and provides a transparent brightening effect. While it's not quite color-correcting, if applied well, it can make your skin look clear and radiant.

  Cons

  The shimmer particles are larger than expected and don't blend well with the product. On days when you haven't done thorough skincare, it feels like you've just smeared eyeshadow all over your face. It doesn't work with any base makeup, not even Armani foundation - it causes everything to pill. It leaves your skin looking overly shiny, and after using this, I developed four pustules on my nose, leading to an unpleasant dermatologist visit!

  Tip

  This product is only suitable for those with resilient skin.
