ConsIt's a bit on the oily side, which is slightly disappointing, and the texture is a bit thick, which is also a drawback.

The color is this intriguing shade that's not quite purple, not quite blue - it's so unique and I love it. The tone correction is subtle but definitely noticeable. It evens out my complexion without being too heavy-handed. Plus, it absorbs really well into my skin.
ConsFor me, it's more of a 'nice to have' rather than a 'must-have' product. I'm not convinced it's worth splurging on, especially given its price point. Also, it feels a bit rich on my skin - there's a noticeable oiliness to it.

ConsThe case is rigid, requiring firm pressure to dispense the product It's quite rich, so using this alone can make skin feel a bit greasy

Cons- Feels a bit heavy for summer use - Even though my U-zone tends to be dry, it looks a bit rich, so probably not suitable for oily skin - At this price point, it might be better to shop around for multiple better products
TipGently pat it on with your fingertips before applying foundation for a beautiful glow!

I've discovered a new world of Inner Glow! I love a radiant finish and a sheer skin-like appearance, but with my blemishes and large pores, I definitely need medium coverage. That's why I'm very picky about foundations. I've been using the Armani Designer Lift foundation for a long time and even wrote a review about it ages ago. Now, I've found the perfect primer to pair with it - this one! I've mainly used 'hydrating primers' in the past, prioritizing skin protection. I also disliked the suffocating feeling of heavy coatings, which often led to blemishes. But this one, while not a hydrating primer, has a makeup base feel + strong priming effect. The glow is absolutely stunning, and it really brings out that Inner Glow beautifully. By the way, it pairs wonderfully with the Designer Lift foundation. Now, let me break down the pros and cons :) ∎ 1) Inner Glow expression. The radiance that shines through the foundation is gorgeous. ∎ 2) Covers texture well without feeling thick. It's so lightweight! ∎ 3) This shade (Mauve) has a slight blue tint that neutralizes yellow undertones. This might be hit or miss, so choose your shade carefully! I actually wished it was a bit less blue to match my yellower body and neck. ∎ 4) Among similar makeup bases, it's the only one with zero pilling. The adhesion power is truly praiseworthy! ∎ 5) No need for a separate sunscreen. However, applying a separate moisturizer before this would be even better.
ConsNow for the downsides and potential drawbacks~ ∎ 1) While it applies thinly, it still feels quite rich. As someone with oily skin prone to blemishes, I'm a bit worried this might be too much in summer. It's fine for the current season, but when it gets a bit warmer, this could turn into an oil sauna! ∎ 2) It has a slight moisturizing effect. This might feel a bit heavy for some people. However, I think it would be great for oily skin in winter, and for dry skin types, it might pair well with a fixing tint-type foundation without causing any flakiness! Personally, I've been using a slightly dewy tone-up sunscreen for my Inner Glow instead of foundation makeup bases or pore-filling primers. So I wasn't sure if I really needed this. But after trying it, I realized it would be perfect for those winter days when the wind makes my skin dry, causing foundation to settle into fine lines. These days, I apply a small amount to areas where I want more glow. Since my pores aren't large enough to need a primer and can be covered by foundation, I'm satisfied using this mainly for the glow effect~!
Tip♥️Recommended for: Those who want that 'Inner Glow' look! It has texture/pore covering abilities, but to a natural degree (a nice bonus feature, but if pore coverage is your main goal, I'd recommend other products) Power oily skin types who dislike heavy moisturizing effects might want to think twice Recommended for dry and combination dehydrated skin types who use semi-matte foundations~! ♥️How to use: Use just a little bit! Warm up a small amount between your hands until it feels slick, then pat it onto your face in specific areas. Applying it all over at once can feel a bit heavy.

ConsIt feels a bit rich, so rather than layering heavy makeup on top, it's better to use it for light coverage
TipInstead of applying it all over, it works best when used as a spot treatment on areas that need highlighting or appear sunken

It minimizes the appearance of pores and seems to work better compared to when I don't use it. Since I use all base products from this brand, I don't experience any issues with my complexion looking off.
ConsI have dry skin, so I tend to use hydrating skincare products. However, this product seems to be a bit too rich in oils. If it's not absorbed properly, it can cause my makeup to pill. It's one of those products that makes me wonder if I really need to use it, but then I feel like my routine wouldn't be complete without it.

I think it might even provide a bit of complexion correction?
ConsI originally had combination-oily skin with some blemishes, but after using this product, I experienced a sudden outbreak of small bumps. When I applied makeup over it, it seemed to break down quickly, so I stopped using it for a while. Since then, my skin troubles have started to disappear. Curious, I tried using the product alone and noticed my face becoming red with excessive oiliness. It also felt slightly itchy. Despite purchasing it at a high price based on an Armani store employee's recommendation, it doesn't seem to suit me. Looking at other reviews, it appears quite a few people have had similar issues with it not agreeing with their skin.

I have dry skin, but this absorbs well and allows for a moisturized skin appearance, which is why I always use this product.
ConsAbove all, the price is truly wicked, and those with oily skin might find it feels a bit rich.

I definitely think applying primer after your skincare routine and before foundation really helps improve the overall complexion.
ConsThe only slight downside might be that it feels a bit rich? It works perfectly for me since I use a matte foundation, but if you prefer foundations with higher oil content, this might not be the best match for you.
