Hydrocolloid is for after popping pimples (the white spot patches you usually think of).
Salicylic acid and tea tree oil are for before popping pimples.

I got this information from a pharmacist's YouTube video. They didn't recommend any specific products, but I thought it might be helpful to share, even though it's not directly related to this patch.

Even though they're thin and transparent, they don't effectively conceal blemishes.
Based on my experience, the acne that doesn't subside with these spot patches doesn't go away even after using them for days to calm it down. For that kind of acne, I recommend getting it extracted by a dermatologist instead of trying to pop it yourself, as that can lead to further irritation or scarring.
I think people with a lot of or severe acne who haven't seen results from other skincare products probably won't see much effect from these spot patches either. They'll need a medical treatment.

Reason for use:
I saw on YouTube that the ingredients in acne patches are different before and after popping pimples.
You're supposed to use them separately, but I didn't know that and always used the spot patches before and after popping pimples. They said that can cause irritation, so I decided to try these.

Calming effect:
When you put the patches on, you don't touch the pimples as often, so there's no further irritation from picking. They protect the area from dust and external irritants.
After using them for two months, I found they have a calming effect. Most of my acne has subsided.

Cost-effectiveness:
The cost-effectiveness is really good.
The price is affordable, and there are a lot in the package, so one purchase lasts for months.

Adhesiveness:
You have to use them on dry skin. If your skin has toner or lotion on it, they don't stick as well. If you use them right after washing your face when your skin is completely dry, they last a really long time. They're transparent, so I even forgot I had one on and washed my face at night, but it didn't come off.

The same product also comes in a peach color variant, which seems to have stronger effects. I sometimes use that one when I have a more severe breakout. And applying it more broadly around the area also seems to improve the results.

The size can be an advantage at times, but when it's too large, it's difficult to wear during the day.

Well, I guess you could say it's visible... The upcoming acne has black heads stuck in the middle, and when those get pressed, they show up clearly as distinct spots.
(Maybe it's just me) but the blackheads don't come out.

When acne comes up, it's great to put on something that allows you to just squeeze it out nicely, or if you leave it on, the sebum comes out on its own and falls off when you wipe it off, or you can gently dab it with a cotton swab and the acne will come out!
It's great that the acne comes out without any pain or irritation.

I bought both the apricot and the clear patches, and I use the apricot ones on the days I wear makeup, and the clear patches on the days I don't~ㅎ

The sticker size is quite large, so it would be good to cut it down to fit the size of the acne spot when using it.

I bought the clear one, and when exposed to sunlight, the sticker becomes shiny and reflective, making it very noticeable. But in low-light conditions, it's so thin that it's barely visible.

When the early symptoms of severe acne start to swell up and become painful, applying this and sleeping on it will make it subside. Before using this, even just brushing against it with my hand would be painful and squeeze it, but after applying this, there's no need to squeeze it and no risk of the bacteria on my hands making it worse!! Really great product.

As mentioned in the photo description, if the acne area is small but the patch feels too large, you can simply cut it in half with scissors to use it more conveniently in a smaller size.

I've tried various acne patches, but none seem to compare to the Acrowin ones. Other patches can be thick or cause the skin to stretch or become irritated after use, but these are thin and barely noticeable when applied. They just leave a small mark or new skin when removed, which is exactly what I'm looking for in an acne patch.
The quantity is really generous, and one container lasts a long time. They're also easy to find at pharmacies, and the price-to-value ratio is excellent.
