I really liked that it comes in a red-brown shade. While I'm not sure about the staining effect, it's decent enough for the price. It's definitely better than wearing nothing at all. The photo shows the color left after applying for 2 hours, removing it, and washing my face twice. The staining effect isn't great, and it's difficult to peel off. Instead of coming off in one piece, it breaks into small strips, making removal a challenge! - ji*******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 9, 2019
The color payoff and staining power are truly unmatched! I've been using this since it launched, but the renewed version has no stickiness, making the peel-off process a bit odd. The old version came off cleanly and coolly. Also, since the new one has better color payoff, if you apply it before bed and peel it off in the morning, you end up with cartoon-like brows! And because I toss and turn in my sleep, it slightly stains areas where I didn't even apply it. Personally, I prefer the old version. If you don't want exaggerated brows, peel it off after an hour or two! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMar 8, 2018
The gel-type formula doesn't spread too much, so it adheres nicely to the eyebrows when applied. After waiting at least 2 hours and removing it, it doesn't hurt much and peels off well, which I liked. Even when using the Etude House eyebrow stencil, the shape doesn't come out perfectly pretty, and some line adjustments with a cotton swab are needed. However, it wipes off quickly before it sets, and that's fine. Using the 3 different shaped eyebrow stencils sold by Etude House helps the shape come out well. (In the photo, the 'Chic Brow' stencil was used) Also, before using, wipe the eyebrows and surrounding area with a tissue, and brush the eyebrows with a spoolie brush. This helps the product adhere better in the direction the brows are brushed.
