This shampoo has great ingredients, good cleansing effectiveness, and a pleasant scent. It's a bit inconvenient to use since it doesn't come in a pump bottle.

I usually use the Volume & Shine variant, but even with my dry skin, I noticed my scalp getting oily quickly during the peak of summer (oil build-up starting from late afternoon after morning wash 😞). I decided to try the Clarifying version for summer, and it definitely keeps the oiliness at bay. Given the hot weather and sweating, especially when going out, I do notice some scalp odor by evening after a morning wash. However, my hair remains fresh and bouncy until nighttime. Like the Volume & Shine, it lathers well and has great cleansing effectiveness. Some people complain about the packaging, but I actually consider it a plus. You get the hang of controlling the amount with use, and when it's almost empty, you can flip it upside down for a clean finish. I also appreciate that the slightly stiff cap prevents leakage when stored or used upside down. The scent might be a bit disappointing for those who prioritize fragrance in their shampoo, but it dissipates quickly after rinsing. It's practically unscented. Hair does feel a bit stiff immediately after washing. Any concerns about fragrance, hair shine, or nourishment can easily be addressed with treatments or essences. As someone who gets perms regularly, I've been using the Superleaves shampoo for about a year and a half, and I'm satisfied with how it's maintaining my hair without causing damage.

However, this product wasn't irritating at all. Compared to usual, my scalp definitely felt less greasy in the afternoon! Knowing it's made with good ingredients, I felt comfortable recommending it to my middle school-aged cousin too. While it was disappointing that it didn't come in a pump bottle, I found that compared to my previous shampoo, my hair texture worsened significantly and I developed some dandruff, which was unfortunate. I thought it might be a temporary reaction to changing shampoos, but even after a week, the dandruff was still there. I think if you consistently manage your scalp's dead skin cells while using this product, you might be able to overcome the drawback of dandruff developing.

I didn't really feel a cooling or refreshing sensation when using it. As a woman with long hair, I felt my hair became stiff right after shampooing. So I'd recommend this for men, or if women use it, follow up with a treatment or hair oil. ✔Being in my late pregnancy, my hair doesn't get oily even after a week. Usually, when I wash after a week, I need to lather twice to get foam, but this product lathers well from the first wash. ✔The scent is practically non-existent. On a scale of 1 (no scent) to 5 (strong scent): When pumping: 2 - very faint scent After shampooing and drying: between 1 and 2 Those sensitive to fragrances might find it subtle, while others like me might perceive it as unscented. Overall: Recommended for oily scalps or men. For women, I suggest using it with a treatment or oil product! After drying, you might need to brush your hair to feel it's properly styled. First off, I was surprised by the size - as you can see in the photo, it's not small at all and has a nice weight to it. Personally, I love larger sizes, so this was a plus for me! When I first used it, I noticed the formula was clear when squeezed onto my hand. After a little rubbing, it quickly turned into a white lather. Some shampoos have a more watery consistency, while others are thicker - this one leans towards the thicker side. Initially, I was worried it might not effectively remove excess oil. When I first massaged it in, it felt almost like applying a milky body wash, which was different from my usual style (I prefer foamy products for my oily scalp). I used a bit more than a 500 won coin-sized amount for the front of my hair, then added more for the back. I wash my hair daily, and if I skip even one day, I usually need to shampoo twice. After using this product, I expected some oiliness to remain, but surprisingly, there was no residual oil at all! I simply massaged my scalp and hair as usual, and it was amazing how clean it felt. It truly lives up to its 'clarifying' name. What I really appreciated was the absence of that squeaky-clean or stripped feeling. It felt strange at first, but in a good way. I sometimes experience an itchy scalp, but on the day I used this, I hardly scratched at all! The scent of the product is a bit disappointing, but since it performs its main function well, I don't consider it a major drawback that would deter me from purchasing. However, if you really dislike cucumber scents, this might be a hurdle for you. (Some people have criticized the container, but I didn't find it particularly inconvenient to use.)

I have double eyelids and combination skin that sometimes leans oily. I just washed my hair with this shampoo! I used to dislike the feeling of residue after using regular shampoos, but this one leaves my hair feeling thoroughly cleansed, which I love! The texture is thin, similar to regular shampoos. I also smelled it, and while the scent might be divisive for some, I think most people will like it (I certainly do). The bottle is a convenient medium size with just the right amount of product! I'll save the rest for the tips section! Now for my subjective review: I've been using this shampoo for about a week and a half, washing my hair once a day, so about 10 times in total. I have an oily scalp with long, slightly wavy hair. As a student, my scalp tends to get greasy easily. In short, even after washing my hair well before bed, I'd still wake up feeling a bit icky. But this shampoo seems to make a difference. Maybe because it's designed for oily scalps, it does leave my hair less greasy. It's not a dramatic change, mind you! Just a lighter, cleaner feeling than usual. And that's good enough for me! Also, I use a hair straightener almost daily to style my hair slightly, so while it wasn't exactly dry and brittle, it wasn't silky smooth either. But after using this shampoo, I feel like my hair texture has improved. Am I imagining it? It's not a dramatic change, but I've noticed less tangling, which is great. Sometimes I only straighten the tangled parts of my hair, but who has time for that during exam season? I just quickly brush my hair while shampooing. And it's enough to make my hair look presentable at school. I love the lingering scent of shampoo in my hair, and I often smell it. Surprisingly, the fragrance lasts quite a while! I'd recommend this to anyone who loves a good-smelling shampoo! The bottle doesn't have a pump, so you have to squeeze it, which is a bit inconvenient. Also, at 25,000 won, it might be a bit pricey for students like me who are on a tight budget. However, it's available on the official website for 15,000 won, so if you want to try it, that might be a good option! As the weather got colder, I noticed more dandruff and my hair getting greasy faster. I tried silicone-free shampoos and ones with good ingredients before receiving this product. My scalp is extremely oily - I wash once a day in the evening, but by 3 PM, my crown starts getting greasy. By wash time, I look like I haven't washed for days! However, right after washing, my scalp gets super dry, itchy, and prone to dandruff, which was really stressful. The texture was like a soothing gel, not too watery or thick. It flowed easily, so I quickly lathered it and focused on my scalp. Despite its good ingredients, it lathered well. I washed my crown, rinsed briefly, then washed all over again, feeling thoroughly cleansed. Even with my long, thick hair, I didn't need to use much. Some people dislike the scent, but I found it okay - maybe because I have a dull sense of smell. It had a natural, herbal flower-like scent. After using it consistently for a week, oil production was similar to or slightly slower than with other shampoos. Most importantly, my scalp felt less dry and itchy after washing. My hair felt softer even without conditioner! There was also less residue compared to other shampoos. The dandruff improvement wasn't significant, and it felt quite moisturizing for an oily scalp shampoo. The biggest drawback is the packaging! It's a squeeze bottle, and I dropped it a few times trying to re-lather after the initial wash, bruising my foot. A pump dispenser would be much more convenient! After using it for about two weeks, here are the positives: 1. It refreshes the scalp 2. The ingredients seem high-quality, making it very gentle and comfortable on the skin 3. It improves hair health. 1. Scalp Refreshment and Itch Relief Recently, I've been experiencing scalp itchiness due to increased heat in my head. However, using this shampoo has noticeably reduced the itching. The moment I apply it to my scalp, I feel an incredible cooling sensation! I think this is due to the clarifying properties of the cucumber extract! 2. Skin Comfort and Quality Ingredients I've rarely seen a shampoo with such impressive ingredients. (Maybe a few on iHerb? Though I haven't tried those, so I can't compare the actual products!) The high-quality ingredients definitely make a difference - it doesn't sting or feel overly slippery on the skin, just gentle and comfortable. 3. Hair Health The most surprising thing when I first used this shampoo was... when I tried to rinse it out, my hair wouldn't detangle! The strands were all knotted up, and I thought the shampoo was a failure. But after I managed to finish washing and drying my hair, I noticed that my hair had become incredibly thick, strong, and resilient! Of course, it was also super soft. With continued use, the tangling has reduced significantly, and I can feel my hair getting healthier with each wash. I think my hair was just adjusting after being used to chemical products for so long! + Additional point) 4. Lather Despite being made from natural ingredients and having a slightly acidic pH, it lathers amazingly well! As you can see in my photo, I used just a pea-sized amount in my hand to create lather, and in reality, it produced even more foam than shown! First off... the hair tangling is the most disappointing aspect. While my hair is becoming healthier, it definitely feels stiffer compared to other shampoos after use... I'm considering whether I should switch to a shampoo with slightly less beneficial ingredients but a softer feel. I'll decide after using it a bit longer! And the scent! While I'm okay with this cucumber fragrance in cosmetics, it admittedly smells a bit like dish soap. Some people might dislike it because of the scent! Since it's a product that's good for the scalp, in the beginning, it might be easier to adapt by using it in combination with your regular shampoo - applying this product to the scalp and your usual shampoo to the mid-lengths and ends of your hair.
