Pros
First of all, my eyes have a lot of oil, so eyeshadow tends to wipe off and smear easily. I bought this primer hoping that it would increase the lasting power of the eyeshadow I apply in the morning. Proper application is really important. When applied, it provides a base feel, so when I layer color on top, I can express the color more accurately compared to just my bare skin.
Cons
Even if I just dab it on, it clumps up a bit, and if I layer eyeshadow on top of the clumped primer, it gets even more clumped. When it clumps, it feels a bit like clay and difficult to spread, so I don't think I'll be able to use this eye primer well.
Tip
You need to be very careful with the amount you use and make sure to spread it out evenly.

Even the messy Chadeau (eyeshadow) becomes less messy when using this. It helps with pigmentation.

Pros
First of all, I'm so happy that there's no eye makeup smudging since I started using the primer! The eyeshadow application is also better, and I'm satisfied that there's no eyeliner smudging. I was worried that using only a small amount would cause it to dry out, but it hasn't dried out at all! I'm continuing to repurchase and use it.
Cons
It's best to dispense a small amount onto the back of your hand and gently pat it onto your eyelids with your fingers. Make sure to let it fully absorb before applying eyeshadow for better color payoff. While it can sometimes get clumpy or appear chalky if too much is used, this rarely happens.
Tip
The VDL primer + Innisfree No Sebum powder is my go-to holy grail combination! I used to just use the No Sebum powder, but when I layer the primer underneath, my eye makeup doesn't budge at all. I have a lot of fat on my eyelids, so eye makeup smudging was a big issue for me, but using the powder on top of the primer really solves that problem. For those without as much eyelid fat, the primer alone should be sufficient.
