However, the color match was so perfect that I couldn't give up on it, which led me to purchase this product. I realized they're completely different products, and the shades do vary. Since my face tends to be on the red side, the original version with its yellowish undertone actually suited me better color-wise. But in terms of hydration and adherence, this seems great for everyday light application. I used to use Make Up For Ever UHD Foundation, and while the color is almost identical, this product is slightly more fluid but seems to have better coverage. Since I've only applied it for the first time today, I'll need to see how long it lasts. The shade does appear a bit light though... I usually wear shade 23. 8/4 Update - Writing this review after drinking and clubbing... I only touched up lightly with Jung Saem Mool during the night. Applied at 5 PM, then drank heavily and danced at the club until 10 AM the next morning. The foundation held up well without much breakdown, and I'm not even sure if it came off. It's amazing!
ConsSince I've only applied it for the first time on my way to work today, I'm not sure yet. However, I don't feel any dryness or tightness on my face at all. Even though I have sensitive skin, there are no signs of potential blemishes appearing.
TipThey say it's good to apply with a brush, but I'm known among my friends for being clumsy. So I just use those multi-pack puffs from Daiso without dampening them and pat it on. It still applies thinly and naturally. I feel like dampening the puff would rob my face of moisture, so keeping it dry works best for me.

If you dislike heavy foundations, you'll be satisfied with this one. I didn't experience any darkening, and true to its Double Wear name, it stays put remarkably well. While some say the coverage is lacking, for a moisturizing foundation, it covers better than competitors. However, if you're expecting the coverage of the original Estée Lauder Double Wear, you might be quite disappointed. Though the coverage isn't high, I'm very pleased that even after long hours, it doesn't noticeably fade or clump around blemishes or pores.
ConsYou'll notice that this product has low coverage once you apply it.

It's definitely more moisturizing and has a thinner consistency that flows easily. It applies incredibly thin and light! Despite being a hydrating foundation, the staying power is still impressive - Estée Lauder really knows their stuff. The Sand color in this version has less yellow undertones and looks much prettier. In the photo, the shorter one is the original Double Wear, and the longer one is the Double Wear Nude. This new version even has a glow that you won't find in the original. Using a brush gives a thin, luminous finish, while applying with a dry sponge provides slightly more coverage. Even when layered, it feels lighter than the original Double Wear.
ConsWhen I first used it during the initial release, it was hot outside and I didn't like it at all. But now that it's cooler, I've started using it again and I love it so much that I'm retracting all my previous complaints! I have combination skin with oily T-zone and very dry cheeks. On hot days, while it doesn't completely break down, it tends to disappear from my nose and forehead, and the longevity isn't great. However, in this cooler weather, I'm 200% satisfied with how it performs!
TipIf you're buying this thinking 'I love the original Double Wear but wish it was more hydrating', you'll definitely regret it. I made that mistake. This is a completely different foundation from the original Double Wear. Think of it as a sheer, luminous foundation with a runny texture that gives a clear, radiant skin-like finish with lighter coverage. If you're used to the original Double Wear, you might find the transfer-resistance, coverage, and longevity a bit disappointing.
