With Nude, I noticed a slight glow while it definitely helped maintain hydration. It felt moisturizing on my skin.
ConsI have sensitive, dehydrated combination skin (not excessively oily). My skin tends to develop a few blemishes here and there. While I had no issues with Double Wear, Nude seems to not agree with my skin. I started getting small bumps all over, so I immediately stopped using it. At first, I thought it couldn't be the foundation, but after a few weeks of not using it, my skin returned to normal. This foundation might be fine for those who don't typically experience blemishes, but for my skin type, I can't recommend it.

I haven't tried the Futurellist, which is said to be even clearer, so I'm not sure. But I always use this when my skin is dry.
ConsWhen I'm in a hurry, I have to spread it with a sponge, but then it feels strange and doesn't adhere well. You shouldn't expect much coverage.
TipUse a brush! Use a brush! Apply it thinly with a brush! Then, tap it lightly with a sponge and apply another thin layer with the brush!!! Repeating this process twice will make it last for over 10 hours without breaking down.

This product is much more hydrating and has a watery, flowing texture compared to the well-known existing product. It seems suitable to use especially in the winter when the skin tends to be drier. My skin tone is around shade 21 and slightly lighter, and this product matched my skin tone well. Although I have an oily T-zone and dry U-zone, as long as I have a solid skincare routine, this product worked well for me without any issues. This product seems to work better for those with dry skin types rather than very oily skin types. Those with combination skin may also want to give it a try.
ConsAs someone with a combination skin type, I was a bit disappointed with the longevity of this product. When I applied it in the morning and went out, by the afternoon, there was a slight oiliness and darkening in certain areas.😓 I had to do some touch-ups with powder. When I applied this after exfoliating or using a face mask, the coverage looked nice and smooth, but if I just applied it without proper skin prep, there were some issues with emphasizing dry patches and separation. Overall, it was a fairly average product for me, not an absolute must-have. I don't think I'll be repurchasing this.

It also gives a moderate glow and, most importantly, a beautiful tone. While the coverage is not super heavy, it enhances the complexion nicely, so the slightly lower coverage was still satisfactory for me. In fact, the coverage is probably a bit less than the Double Wear, but I was still satisfied.
ConsThis doesn't seem to be the best representative of foundations for dry skin. The formula is really watery, and it dries up quickly when applied, so I didn't get a moisturizing feel. On the plus side, it doesn't stick to the hair.
TipIf the coverage seems a bit lacking, you can build it up by applying it in layers. I did a routine of skincare, sunscreen, concealer, and then this foundation (applied twice), and it held up well even in the very dry office environment until the evening.

I use this on those days, but it also works really well for the dry Calgary winters! It's not completely without coverage, but it gives a dewy, luminous finish while still letting my skin show through. It also provides decent pore coverage. I've tried the original Double Wear as well, but that was too heavy and cakey, and the pore coverage wasn't that great, so I don't reach for it as much. Compared to the original, this one seems a bit brighter and less yellow in tone. I'd recommend this to those who enjoy a light, natural-looking makeup.
ConsSince it doesn't have the same thick, whipped texture as the original Double Wear, it can be a bit tricky to apply - you have to dab it on with a brush a couple of times. And since I only do minor touch-ups with just a bit of lipstick, the lasting power is around 5 hours for me. After that, I can see it settling into my pores a bit. And of course, the not-so-great ingredients... That's why the foundations with better ingredients tend to have poorer application and wear. I wish there was an option similar to this one but with cleaner ingredients.
TipUsing a puff makes it apply a bit more cakey and takes away that beautiful, natural glow. So I'd recommend using a foundation brush instead.
