  Pros

  It felt substantial, making it great for using with NuFACE. It seemed to have a good moisturizing effect.

  Cons

  My face felt hot right after applying it, and it kept drying out while using NuFACE, so I had to buy a separate soothing gel.

  Pros

  The fact that it comes with NuFACE is a major plus. It's not just any ordinary hydrating gel. When using it with NuFACE, you can go up to level 5 without any discomfort. It's thick, super firm, and adheres well, effectively conducting the current deep into the skin. It's perfect for that role.

  Cons

  Cleansing is a pain... It's slippery and doesn't wash off well even with foam cleanser. Ironically, having to wash off this gel is more annoying than using the NuFACE device itself, which discourages me from using it regularly. It doesn't cause blemishes or anything like that. (I've skipped using it a few times because cleansing is such a hassle.) Also, it dries out during use, becoming thick and sticky. For a gel primer that's nothing special... the price makes me hesitant to repurchase.

  Tip

  The price is a bit... You probably don't need to buy a gel primer specifically. To overcome the drying and stickiness issue, don't apply it all over your face at once. Apply to half your face, finish the NuFACE treatment, then apply to the other half. I've finally figured out how to cleanse it well - use water. It washes off easily with water. The strong adherence that made it frustratingly slippery and hard to remove can be dealt with by rinsing thoroughly with warm water first. If any residue remains, you can use soap then. This allows for a clean wash. However, the fact that you have to go back to the sink to cleanse after doing your NuFACE routine is still equally annoying and frustrating...
