I've tried other aloe gels, but they dried up quickly. With the NuFACE gel, the hydration lasts throughout the entire massage. However, when I apply it, my skin feels a slight burning sensation. I have super sensitive skin, but it's okay if I wash my face immediately after the massage. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinMay 29, 2018
I can't say there were any positives. This was a product I received when purchasing a device. The first time I applied this product, my face felt really tingly and uncomfortable. I immediately washed it off and used an aloe soothing gel to calm my skin. For those with sensitive skin, I recommend using an aloe soothing gel when using the device. - zz****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinSep 2, 2017
When using NuFACE, it's best not to use other skincare products. The dedicated gel primer works much better! It seems to enhance the effectiveness. Those with super sensitive skin might want to avoid this product. I recommend mixing it half-and-half with facial ultrasound gel. For sensitive skin, I suggest using only the ultrasound gel. - su*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAug 17, 2017
My mom's review: Here's what she likes: • The primer makes it easy to use the facial device. (The primer itself doesn't show noticeable effects on its own. But when applied to the face and used with the massager, it spreads evenly on the surface, revealing its effectiveness.) • The texture of the primer is similar to ultrasound gel. (This brings back good memories for my mom.) • It's a bit pricey for its size. However, compared to the gold primer which is 39,000 won for 2oz, this price is reasonable. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJul 11, 2017
This product is perfect for using with NuFACE. You can really feel the electrical current being transmitted effectively. Blemishes, blemishes, and more blemishes! My face keeps breaking out. - yo*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinJun 2, 2017
I've been using this with my NuFace device and it's a perfect match! After use, my skin feels wonderfully hydrated. If you're not using it with a device, you might not find it necessary. But it works really well with the device. When applied in a thin layer, it feels cool and hydrating. I love how it makes my skin feel soft. - bl******Dry SkinSensitive SkinMay 31, 2017
The gel primer is absolutely essential when using NuFACE. I only used it for one day... I should have tested the gel first. Within a minute of applying it, my face started burning. Even after finishing with NuFACE and washing my face again, redness appeared, and eventually blemishes broke out all over my face. Now, even with makeup on, everyone can notice the blemishes. Make sure to test it on the delicate skin behind your ear first! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 20, 2017
It felt substantial, making it great for using with NuFACE. It seemed to have a good moisturizing effect. My face felt hot right after applying it, and it kept drying out while using NuFACE, so I had to buy a separate soothing gel. - be**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 24, 2017
Personally, I found using the dedicated gel to be noticeably more effective than products from other brands While the lifting effect was visibly impressive, I had to stop using it because it always caused blemishes It seems you could use a regular aloe gel for a similar massage-like effect - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMar 15, 2017
The upside is that when you use this, it makes your skin tingle, tricking you into thinking it's more effective Not only does it irritate the face, but it also keeps bringing up blackheads. Upon checking, I found that one of the ingredients is incredibly harmful... Just buy and use ultrasound gel instead...
