Great for managing red blemishes! It has a smoothing effect on raised blemishes. You'll see results after using it consistently for about a week. With regular use, it significantly reduces redness. It comes in a small size as part of a set, but it runs out quickly if used daily. It's also good for preventing blemishes. It's not very moisturizing, so you'll need to apply a hydrating cream or ampoule afterwards! The dropper doesn't pick up the solution well. You have to wipe the outside of the dropper and apply that to your face too. It takes four or five attempts with the dropper to get enough product for your face. The solution and the dropper don't seem to be compatible. When blemishes are severe, I apply it twice. Apply it generously like a face mask. - k7********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedApr 23, 2023
I really like how it has a thin consistency, making it lightweight and not sticky at all For those with dry skin, it might still feel quite dry even if you apply a generous amount - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 8, 2023
As someone with oily skin, I love that this doesn't leave any greasiness when applied. After trying many products, I've come back to using this one exclusively. In winter, it might be too drying to use alone. You'll probably need to pair it with a hydrating moisturizer. This product works well for acne-prone skin types. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 14, 2023
It absorbs well, leaving skin moisturized without feeling greasy. My skin feels comfortable and at ease. There's nothing bad to say. I'll definitely repurchase after I finish this one. - ds********Normal SkinAcne SkinJan 5, 2023
Is it suitable for providing deep hydration? For oily skin types, it doesn't feel dry..? 1. Contains many potentially irritating ingredients, increasing the risk of irritation. 2. Doesn't agree with my skin, causing more blemishes. In conclusion, it was clearly not compatible with my skin, so I only used it a couple of times before discarding. I guess my skin doesn't get along with houttuynia cordata. - se*********Normal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 22, 2022
It absorbs quickly and doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy. When I wake up in the morning, my skin feels soft and fresh. Nothing particularly bad, but when I only apply this emulsion by itself, my skin tends to dry out easily. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 7, 2022
I feel like I'm getting fewer blemishes, and I think it's a great product. After using it, I notice my skin feels a bit dry, which is disappointing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 26, 2022
The runny texture makes it absorb well when applying. When I first used it, it even helped calm my blemishes! For those with dry skin, it might feel a bit drying! After finishing the first bottle, I bought a second one, but I guess results can vary because I gradually stopped noticing any improvement in my blemishes... - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 1, 2021
The way it absorbs and its absorption power were excellent. Personally, I think it works well for me. There's not much to complain about, but I was slightly disappointed by the hint of stickiness. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 20, 2020
As someone with extremely oily skin, especially in the T-zone and butterfly zone, I struggle with excess sebum. Even after cleansing, oil resurfaces within hours. Previously, applying skincare and sunscreen would make my skin so greasy that my eyes would sting. However, using this emulsion before sunscreen creates the perfect oil and moisture balance I've been seeking. The houttuynia cordata extract seems to prevent blemishes, and it absorbs well too. I highly recommend this to fellow oily-skinned individuals! If you have dry skin, you might find this quite dehydrating. If you do use it, you'll need to layer it with other hydrating products to ensure adequate moisture. Even with my oily skin, I felt some deep dryness when I only used the serum and emulsion. We all apply sunscreen as the final step in our skincare routine, right? Most sunscreens have some level of richness, which can be problematic for those with oily skin. Heavy skincare products followed by sunscreen can lead to excess oil and cause makeup to break down quickly. However, this emulsion paired with sunscreen and a semi-matte base creates a perfect combination. It helps control oil production, making your makeup last longer without deteriorating. If you're dealing with an oil explosion in your T-zone and butterfly zone like me, you absolutely must try this!
