I used this as a complimentary amenity at a hotel. The cleansing effectiveness was so-so. It came as a set with shampoo, which had a nice scent, but left my hair feeling dry and brittle! I'm disappointed to learn that the ingredients are not as good as I thought. It's really quite a letdown! - pj*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMay 31, 2018
The texture, scent, and feel of their hair, body, and skincare lines were all quite impressive. The subtle fragrance and soft touch make for a very appealing experience. Unfortunately, there are some concerning ingredients that are hard to ignore. While I have some products I'd like to use, I'm conflicted about it. Carcinogenic substances? Really? I'm disappointed. I tried the PTR skincare and body/hair lines and loved the feel and scent, but now I feel completely shocked and deceived. This was even offered as Hilton Hotel amenities - is that allowed? It's still being sold at Sephora too. I can't believe these harmful ingredients are in there, it's truly upsetting. - hu********Combination SkinSensitive SkinOct 22, 2017
As someone who prefers cleansing gels, I've tried many from Aveda, L'Occitane, and Bobbi Brown. This one has impressive cleansing effectiveness, ranking it among the top cleansing gels I've used. I'm really satisfied with it. The fragrance is also pleasantly subtle. However, I had no idea the ingredients were this unfavorable. It's quite disappointing. I discovered Peter Thomas Roth as a brand through the bathroom amenities at Hilton Hotels. After trying their products at the hotel and finding them quite good, I decided to purchase this cleansing gel from a domestic duty-free shop.
