The built-in puff handle was unique and bouncy. I was worried it would stretch out after a few uses, but it was sturdier than expected, which was great. My skin type is combination with dehydration... In the afternoon, my nose and forehead will definitely get shiny, and sometimes the area around my cheekbones can get shiny as well. Suddenly, my face will get very flushed, and the area around my cheeks will turn red, which is a symptom of my facial flushing. Using this product, I didn't experience any breakouts, and it covered blemishes well. Since I often just dab on the cushion without using concealer, it was convenient for me. It seems to cover acne scars well too. In the morning, it applies very moisturizing and nicely. After application, it gives a glowing skin-like effect. The longevity is not extremely long, but not too short either - it's at a normal level. The best part was that it didn't emphasize oiliness around my nose when my makeup started to break down.
Cons★Hwahae Trial Reviewer Review★ The matte case means fingerprints show up easily and are hard to wipe off. If the built-in puff could have spread the product more evenly, that would have been better. Since it's a high-coverage product, it tends to cake up, and the puff couldn't fully prevent that. I had to dab it many times to get it to settle nicely, which was annoying. As many have reviewed, even though it's shade 21, it seems a bit on the darker side. Regular users of shade 21 may find it doesn't match their skin tone. I'm not extremely fair-skinned either, but it made my face look a bit dull. It doesn't seem to suit my skin tone. At first, it seemed to cover the flushing well, but once the heat sensation came up, the coverage was immediately lost. In my case, the pores and flakiness stood out terribly in the afternoon. Especially now in the winter cold, the dryness made it even worse. Touching up was very annoying and not great... Without a moisturizer, just layering it on made the flakiness more pronounced. Spraying a setting mist made the makeup melt and patchy. Others said hair doesn't stick to it much, but for me, the morning wind made it cling a lot. Luckily, there weren't any hair marks left. (Not sure if the makeup setting spray helped with that) However, if I touched it directly with my fingers after applying false lashes, the fingerprints showed up very clearly. The *** oxygen cushion I used from summer to fall applied thinly and evenly, giving a natural skin-like tone-up effect and feeling comfortable. This one, with its thick coverage, felt a bit suffocating.
TipI used a moisturizing cream with a primer function as the last step of my skincare routine, and I applied a separate primer on my T-zone and cheek areas before using the cushion. I always finished with a makeup setting spray. When touching up in the afternoon, I lightly patted with a blotting paper, then applied a bit of moisturizer on the areas that were getting shiny, which helped reduce the cakiness. Spraying the setting spray too often actually made it patchy and wiped off, so I had to use it moderately.

The user has dry/oily, sensitive skin with acne scars and discoloration. 👍The puff has a soft, velvety texture. The puff adheres very well to the skin. The elastic strap that supports the fingers is stretchy (bouncy), allowing it to grip the three fingers comfortably and securely. This makes it very comfortable to apply the product on the face. With other puffs from drugstores, the puff strap does not hold the fingers well, so a lot of force needs to be applied with the middle finger, and the index and ring fingers have to push the strap, which can be tiring for the arm. But this product does not require that, so the arm does not get tired. 👍It works well for touch-ups. The user normally has a separate touch-up cushion. The problem with using the cushion (compact) from home as a touch-up was that it would always look cakey. However, this product is not too matte, so it does not look cakey even when used for touch-ups. 👍The breakdown looks nice. The longevity is not exceptional, but when it breaks down, the foundation does not clump up or settle into the sides of the nose. 👍The design is pretty.
Cons👎The coverage is not good enough The coverage is moderate, but the user prefers foundations with better coverage, so this is a downside for them. The user currently does not have active acne, but the discoloration from acne scars is severe, so it was difficult to cover the entire face with just the cushion without using a concealer. 👎It doesn't look nice when applied thickly When the user tried to build up the coverage without using a concealer during the first use, it settled heavily around the sides of the nose.
TipIf you have blemishes, don't expect too much coverage from this cushion alone. It's best to use it together with a concealer. With that approach, the cushion has a nice breakdown and decent longevity. If you have any other questions, feel free to leave a comment. 😊

The coverage is good compared to cushions with more chemical ingredients, and the ingredients are also fine. And for me, who has sensitive skin, I'm using it well without any redness or irritation. The case is a matte dark case, but it's square-shaped, so it feels unfamiliar yet nice and luxurious because of the matte finish. The scent is like tea tree, so it won't be a love-hate thing! The built-in puff was also good!
ConsThere were no troubles like breakouts, but this product was unusually dark and yellowish in color. Compared to other cushions, it was more yellowish and darker, so it felt like I was using a 23 shade... That was the case! If you use 21 shades, you'll need to check the color carefully and use it! And the price... It seems a bit high for sensitive-skinned and financially-challenged teenage friends and students!I hope they would have sales more often!!!
TipSince the color is a bit dark, it would be good to apply the base a little thinly or apply a slightly whitening sunscreen thinly!

As soon as I opened the package, I found the case to be really pretty - matte black haha. The puff is not like a regular puff, but it's super dense and firm? The 'handle' part of the puff is wide and firm, so it's easy to use!!! Since I've only used cushions with poor coverage before, I'm not sure, but the coverage of this one was the best among all the cushions I've used so far. Those who don't have severe blemishes would be able to cover up well with just this product, without needing a concealer. It finishes off with a soft, semi-matte feel (not drying at all!). Pores and wrinkles seem to be well-managed.
ConsWhen I applied it, it was too dark, so I had to double-check if it was really the 21 shade. It has a slight yellow undertone, making it look even darker. I think this would suit better for those with brighter, 23 shade skin tones. It seems to apply a bit thickly, and adjusting the amount was a bit tricky. And after walking around a bit, the oil comes through quite a bit, and it doesn't look nice when it breaks down. There's also some visible flakiness and oiliness. Even in the winter, with my puffer jacket, it seems to transfer a bit. I've been setting it with powder each time I apply it.
TipIt's better to do your skincare routine in moderation rather than too much, as the cushion feels a bit heavy.

The coverage was really good, so I didn't even need to use a concealer. The puff was also well-applied with good adhesion, so it was really good. The case is also matte, so fingerprints get on it a bit, but the case is really my style. Since the coverage is good, the skin expression looks pretty, and I didn't have much pore visibility or nose creasing, so I liked it. I don't know if it's because I'm using it for the first time, but I'm satisfied with the large amount. And since it doesn't cause any trouble, I was able to use it well. But the coverage is really the best. You can also use it as a concealer and it's a really good product!
ConsOver time, the oil comes up a bit.. I like a finish that's a little powdery, but as time goes on, the oil gradually comes up, so I have to powder it in the middle. And since I like a pink base, when I applied this yellow-based product, my skin looked too yellowish.
TipIf you spray mist on the puff and press it, it becomes more moisturizing, so you can use it well even in winter.

The matte square shape looks so luxurious. The puff is uniquely pretty and applies the product evenly. The puff handle is made of a rubber-like material, so it won't break easily. I really love the case and the puff. The skin expression right after application is gorgeous. When applied, it's moisturizing yet has a nice powdery finish with a beautiful glow. The coverage is also exceptional - it covers redness and blemishes quite well. Acne scars, pores, and flushing are my biggest concerns, but I was able to go out confidently without using a concealer with this cushion! The longevity is also quite good. It's not exceptional, but it lasts for a touch-up or two. I've been using the Hera Black Cushion, so in comparison, it's a bit lacking, but compared to other cushions, I'd say the longevity is mid-to-high range. Lastly, the clean ingredients! It's not easy to find a cushion with good ingredients, but this one is decent. Except for those allergic to centella and tea tree, most people should be able to use it without issues. That's probably why the tea tree scent is mild. As someone used to the strong "medicinal" scent of the typical black cushion, this is perfectly fine by me :)
ConsThe most disappointing aspect is the shade. I have a warm-toned skin tone that's not too light or too dark, around shade 21. Typically, using a standard 21 shade would make my skin look naturally radiant. But when I applied this product, it just gave me a "bare skin" feel. It's a bit too dark, almost like a 22 or even a bright 23 shade. I think this would suit those who usually wear a 22 shade better. I plan to use this over a whitening base... It also applies quite thickly. Absolute beginners should avoid this! It's difficult to control the amount and it doesn't spread evenly. Those looking for a natural skin-like finish may not like this, but those wanting full, flawless coverage can give it a try, keeping the shade in mind. The shade... you really have to consider the shade. The breakdown is messy. It could be because I have oily skin, but when I checked in the mirror after just one touch-up during the day, it looked terrible... The pores were all accentuated, the oily T-zone area was the only part that had worn off, leaving an unsightly oily sheen. There wasn't much caking, though.
TipBe sure to keep the shade in mind! Since the pore coverage is a bit weaker compared to other products, using a primer beforehand might make it look even nicer. Just the slightest dab will bring out a lot of product initially. Controlling the amount is a must! You'll need to very gently press it, without really feeling like you're pressing down. It applies quite thickly, so if you pick up too much at once, it'll be difficult to apply evenly... I think the best way is to pick up just a tiny bit on the puff and apply it in a thin layer :)
