My skin is sensitive and dry, and in the winter, a lot of dead skin builds up around my mouth. I'm currently using three different ampoules and a nourishing cream, but as winter came, the dead skin kept building up, so I bought this product after reading reviews. I bought this to use instead of a lotion, and while I was worried about the light oil content, I trusted the reviews and tried it. I usually get breakouts when using oil-based products, but I didn't have any issues with this. The texture is a bit like a thin lotion, but when applied, it has an oily feel and seems to form a protective barrier to prevent the nutrients from my ampoules from getting absorbed too quickly. I've failed with oil-containing products in the past, but this one worked great for me in the dry winter without causing any breakouts. It has a lot of milk ingredients, so I'm hoping it will brighten my skin, though I haven't noticed a difference yet. But I'm satisfied with how moisturizing it is. The moisture level was somewhere between a face oil and a serum. It might be too heavy for summer, but would likely work well in the winter. The moisture level is good. There were no skin troubles. And since this is not a product intended for soothing troubled skin, it does not have a calming effect either. Other people have mentioned that the dropper-type packaging is inconvenient, but I have been using it without any issues. If you apply too much or don't absorb it well, it can cause makeup to slip. But if you apply the right amount and let it absorb properly, it actually helps makeup adhere better.

Combination skin and sensitive skin types often think that using oils will cause an acne explosion, but products that are not 100% pure oils can actually manage both internal and external moisture. First, the scent! It's a very common scent, similar to the Etude House baking soda foam, just a refreshing scent! I have acne-prone skin and will use anything, but so far I haven't had any trouble.
