It might be too heavy for summer, but would likely work well in the winter. The moisture level is good. There were no skin troubles. And since this is not a product intended for soothing troubled skin, it does not have a calming effect either. Other people have mentioned that the dropper-type packaging is inconvenient, but I have been using it without any issues. If you apply too much or don't absorb it well, it can cause makeup to slip. But if you apply the right amount and let it absorb properly, it actually helps makeup adhere better.
ConsThe absorption doesn't seem to be the best. If you apply a lot of other skincare products like creams and serums beforehand, it can sit on top of the skin. But if you just apply this one product, it absorbs well. When the skin is overly moisturized, it can have trouble absorbing this product and it may just sit on the surface. I was expecting a milky, creamy, or nutty scent based on the name, but it actually has a slightly artificial, fresh scent that I'm not a big fan of.
TipMixing this with foundation gives a natural, glowy, and moisturized finish.

When bio-oil was very popular before, I had applied that and experienced redness and flushing, so I was a bit wary of oils. But I thought that mixing it with lotion might be better. It's actually better than I expected. It's really right in the middle of oil and lotion. So it's lighter than oil, but I can still feel a thin oil layer forming. I think it would be good for those with dry skin who feel the moisture in lotions evaporates quickly.
ConsI think others might share the same feedback, but there are two major downsides. The first is that it's in a dropper format. Since it's an oil-based product, it seems they made it this way, but the product really doesn't dispense well... This is the first time I've used a cosmetic product that was so inconvenient to use. The second is that the fragrance is extremely irritating. There is a strong citrus, lemon-like scent that I don't find pleasant at all... I think those with sensitive skin might even feel like their skin is reacting just from the fragrance alone, it's that strong.
TipI actually recommend this product more for those with dry skin to use as a protective layer after their skincare routine, rather than as a core moisturizer. Typically, a basic skincare routine focuses on heavily hydrating the skin and making it supple and dewy. But as someone with dry skin, even after a thorough skincare routine, my skin still ends up feeling dry after applying foundation. If you just lightly pat this on your palms to warm it up and then press it into the skin, it creates an amazingly smooth and seamless finish, even better than just using an oil product. If you're worried about it melting or wearing off, you can just lightly spritz a makeup setting spray afterwards.
