It's an oil, but not a heavy, greasy oil like a serum. I use a mineral sunscreen, and even when I apply a lotion, my skin gets dry and flaky. But after using this, it doesn't get flaky and my skin looks clean when I apply it. There's a refreshing moisturizing feeling to it. I was hesitant to try other oils because my skin is oily, but I have no plans to switch from this one - it's enough for me. It may feel a bit heavy in the summer, especially with the mask these days. I've known about this product for a long time, but I bought it when Apieu was on sale to match the shipping cost. The ingredients are good and it was half off, so I gave it a try. Now it's a holy grail product for me. As I mentioned, it's free of harmful ingredients. The first ingredient is milk protein extract. I've used quite a bit, but there's still a lot left. In the winter, my face would often feel tight after cleansing, but this has a slightly heavier formula, so it's perfect for winter. I have combination skin - oily T-zone and dry everywhere else.
