Among Lush products, this was the most underwhelming one. For a mask, it's too harsh on the skin. Even though it's meant to exfoliate, the particles are too rough and large, making it uncomfortable to use. Personally, I dislike the scent as well. It has an overpowering coffee aroma that gave me a headache. From the fragrance to its effectiveness, this product was just mediocre. At this price point, I'd recommend buying a different mask instead. - ow*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedNov 22, 2022
The intense aroma of coffee beans...? It has a calming and soothing effect that grows on you the more you smell it. I mainly use it on my neck, hands, and feet, and I love how it leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated after use. However, I felt it was too harsh to use on the face. If you have super sensitive skin, absolutely avoid using it on your facial skin! - ek********Oily SkinRecommendedOct 27, 2022
It clears up blemishes and leaves my face with a radiant glow. Personally, I found it quite effective. The coffee granules were a bit large, making it difficult to scrub. Also, it tends to make the sink messy. - hy********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsSep 12, 2022
It smells like coffee when massaging it in. There's a bit of moisturizing effect. It doesn't cause back acne. It's expensive. The granules are difficult to clean off. When I use it in the shower and come out, my mom says I smell like poop (I guess the coffee scent can be perceived that way), and my boyfriend sniffed me and asked if I'd been welding somewhere. The lingering scent isn't great, it seems. But comparing it to welding is a bit much... It gets stuck under my nails easily, which feels unpleasant. If you want to try it, don't spend your own money - try to get it as a gift instead! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 26, 2022
It has a pleasant scent and gives a nice exfoliating sensation! After applying, my skin feels incredibly smooth The scrubbing effect feels a bit too harsh... I wouldn't recommend it for those with super sensitive skin - jj**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresJul 12, 2022
Combination dehydrated skin / Super sensitive skin / Blemish-prone skin Strong coffee scent. It's quite polarizing. Somewhat effective at removing dead skin cells. The scrub particles are larger than expected... It might feel a bit irritating to some. You really need to cleanse thoroughly. The particles tend to linger on your face. - my********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 4, 2022
The strong coffee scent is actually quite pleasant. What's truly impressive is how my skin feels incredibly smooth after using it overnight. When applying my skincare routine the next morning, the products absorb noticeably better - it's not just a subtle difference, but a significant improvement. The coffee scrub particles are quite hard and larger than expected, which can be harsh during application and rinsing. If you have super sensitive skin, I'd recommend trying to get a sample first if possible. Also, the mask tends to create a warming sensation on the face, so it might be more suitable for winter use rather than summer. Since the physical exfoliants are quite large, they may cause significant irritation. I recommend applying with minimal pressure and rinsing off gently without any circular motions to minimize potential skin irritation. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 22, 2022
It works as a scrub and leaves my skin feeling hydrated. Perhaps because coffee is also a bean, there's a nice moisturizing effect after use. I appreciate that it's a Lush vegan product, so the ingredients are kind and good. The subtle coffee scent lingers pleasantly after the mask. It's not exactly cheap. However, the product quality seems good. After cleansing, I didn't notice any residue, so it seems to dissolve completely. The amount is adequate for me as I apply it thinly, but it might not be enough for those who prefer thicker applications. The coffee scent might be hit or miss for some. If you use it before bed, you'll smell coffee until you fall asleep. I found that mixing it with honey creates a super nourishing mask. Also, since the granules are quite large, I recommend leaving it on for about 10 minutes. If you let it dry completely, the coffee granules can be a bit harsh when washing off. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedApr 26, 2022
The coffee scent was absolutely divine. It gave me a feeling of brightening up my complexion. There wasn't really anything to complain about. Perhaps the short shelf life, if I had to mention something. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 24, 2022
I've been using Cup O'Coffee mask daily for three days to tackle my milia, and wow! The tiny bumps have almost disappeared, leaving only some blemish marks. It's amazing! I apply toner before the mask, and after rinsing, my skin feels incredibly hydrated. The scent is right up my alley too! The exfoliating particles are quite large, so I wouldn't recommend this for those with severe acne or open wounds on their skin.
