I ended up buying this product for its coverage, and it's incredibly thick. It's even more intense than most concealers. Don't use it like a regular foundation. Just half a rice grain's worth covers your entire face. It gives a smooth, egg-shell-like finish that's super elastic. It covers texture well and makes your skin look great. I love that it's not drying. It's almost like stage makeup, haha! The 218 Yellow Beige color is great for covering redness. I'd recommend it for skin tones 22-23. It's perfect for those with thick skin or anyone wanting to cover redness with a slightly yellow tone. If coverage is your priority, this is for you. Those with normal skin can use it as a concealer. It's waterproof and sweat-resistant, so it's versatile. The amount you get is enormous - enough to last a lifetime! • I've had it for a while, but I rarely use it. I think it's because it's too thick. Never apply it heavily - it can really cake up and look like theatrical makeup. It feels like it's completely masking my natural skin tone. If you prefer a sheer base that lets your natural complexion shine through, skip this one. • On already yellowish skin, the 218 color can look a bit too yellow. It can give an old-fashioned, heavy appearance. • It feels like it's coating your skin with mineral oil. • You'll need to use a lot of powder with this. The key seems to be controlling the amount you use. Using a puff works perfectly. - qm******Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedJun 20, 2021
I hadn't worn makeup for a year and a half due to COVID-19, only purchasing skincare basics and sunscreen. Then I had to buy this in a hurry for a relative's wedding. After agonizing over the color for days, I chose shade 218. My face and neck are darker than my body, so I was worried when reviews said it was too yellow or dark. But in the end, the color matches well. Reviews suggested using 'a bean-sized amount,' but I covered my entire face with just a rice grain-sized drop. It still gave noticeable coverage and concealed my dark spots and blemishes well. During the pandemic, I developed severe contact dermatitis from masks and couldn't even use sunscreen for months, which caused a lot of dark spots. This foundation covered them all. I thought the yellow tone might make my complexion look off, but after applying powder, it gave me a radiant look. It didn't float on my skin or create a visible line at my neck. Honestly, choosing the color on the official website made me realize how pale Koreans tend to make their makeup. The lightest shade is meant for Northern Europeans - there's a big difference between even the fairest Asian skin and untanned Northern European skin. I was torn between this and 210, but that was for Caucasian skin too! I recommend this to those with a yellow undertone who typically use shade 23 in Korean brands and are worried about the color being too yellow or dark. Even with a small amount, it doesn't feel lightweight. I think that's unavoidable due to its high coverage. It didn't transfer much onto my KF-AD mask. While it has good coverage, it doesn't conceal large pores on the nose and actually emphasizes whiteheads, so I avoid that area. I'm not sure if it's related, but I developed a small inflammation below my nostril. And of course, everyone mentions the packaging... I heard the pump dispenses too much product, so I pierced the same spot three times with a needle. Three holes might be too small; 4-5 would probably be perfect. With this method, no product comes out before you squeeze it. - dh********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 9, 2021
Incredible coverage that can even conceal flame-shaped birthmarks. Shades 22-23 work well. A tiny amount covers the entire face, so it lasts forever. No need for separate concealer - just layer it on areas needing extra coverage for amazing results. For ultimate coverage, you might have to accept some transfer. Finish with powder for a matte look. For crucial areas, try this technique: foundation, powder, another layer of foundation, then powder again. You'll experience unbelievable staying power and coverage. No drawbacks whatsoever. With this level of coverage, any minor transfer isn't even worth mentioning as a con. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 29, 2020
• This foundation offers unbeatable coverage. I usually go for a light makeup look, but when I'm traveling and want to look extra nice for photos, I apply a small amount of this for a natural glow that earns compliments. You must use a puff to evenly spread just a rice-grain-sized amount over your face. • My skin tends to be dry, but my face sweats a lot. Thanks to its waterproof formula, this foundation stays put even when I sweat, eliminating the need for touch-ups. • I dislike makeup that creates a visible line between my face and neck. In winter, shade 21 can look too pale, while in summer, shade 23 lacks brightness and looks bare-faced. However, it matches perfectly with slightly tanned summer skin, giving a radiant look. In winter, it might appear yellowish at first, but it eventually settles into an even tone, providing smooth coverage that looks like clean, natural skin. For special occasions like photoshoots, I apply it all over for full coverage. For everyday use, I apply it very thinly (which is challenging at first and requires practice) or use it as a concealer just on my cheeks. • Instead of squeezing out a rice-grain amount from the tube, open the cap and use the puff to pick up the small amount that seeps out. This technique allows for a natural makeup look. For areas needing more coverage, gently pat a bit more product. • My skin is very dry, so I absolutely can't use powder to set my makeup in winter. Instead, I lightly press with a clean, powder-free puff for a smooth finish. When touching up oily areas like the nose and forehead, I just pat gently with a clean, powder-free puff instead of adding more product. - ji******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedAug 16, 2019
The coverage is amazing! It really hides redness without needing concealer! However, I was a bit disappointed as it's darker than I expected. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 26, 2018
The coverage is absolutely amazing... It's the only thing that can hide my dark spots. I can't switch to anything else because nothing else covers as well as this. I thought it would be super matte, but it's actually less matte than I expected. If you don't control the amount well, it can get extremely thick. Proper amount control is essential... The case can leak if you're not careful when carrying it around. It's like an ointment, so... You need to choose the right shade carefully. I'm exactly a 218 shade, but if you want a lighter makeup look, you might want to try something else. The 218 shade is yellower than you might expect! - wo***Oily SkinSensitive SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 23, 2018
I usually prefer lightweight products over full-coverage ones, but I decided to give this a try due to its affordable price at Cou*. I normally use Giorgio Lasting. I use shade 4, which is a bit too light, so I was curious about mixing it with this darker shade - and wow, it's amazing! The Dermacol product on its own is quite thick and emphasizes pores, but when mixed with the Giorgio product, it's just perfect. I love it! I've heard that mixing Estée Lauder and Giorgio foundations works well, so I tried that too, but it wasn't great. Dermacol is much better! The coverage is excellent. My usual shade is around 22, and this might be a bit dark when used alone. Nothing bad to say! However, I don't think I could use it on its own. It's a bit yellow-toned - I mix it with other products to balance out the yellowness. Giorgio Armani Lasting + Dermacol foundation is a match made in heaven. You must try it! - la******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 8, 2018
The coverage is absolutely killer! It has a slightly dewy finish that makes your skin look amazing. Honestly, this foundation outperforms all the other high-coverage ones I've tried combined. The way it covers imperfections is truly, truly perfect. Finding this shade (No. 22) can be a bit tricky, but if you search hard enough, you can still get it. As expected with such high coverage, it does go on quite thick. If you wear it for long hours, you might notice some tiny bumps appearing - seems like it may clog pores. Still, if flawless coverage is your top priority, I'd recommend giving this a try. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinOct 12, 2017
The coverage is insane! I've tried almost every concealer out there, but nothing could hide my blemishes. However, this one is like a miracle ointment. I squeezed out just a tiny bit, applied it to my acne spots, and it even covered the redness that usually harmonizes with my blemishes! It's incredible! I bought it on Naver Shopping for 14,000 won with free shipping, and they have all the shades available. I got shade 218, and it's fantastic. If you're looking for high coverage, you absolutely must buy this! The only issue was that it's extremely matte, which emphasized dead skin cells. I used it for about a week, and the adherence is terrible. Even 30-40 minutes after application, when I briefly held my phone to my face to answer a call, it transferred completely. It leaves marks even with the slightest touch of your hand. You need to have a solid skincare routine before applying this. Make sure to exfoliate thoroughly, or else your skin will end up looking like reptile scales. - sm*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAug 16, 2017
I was going to buy shade 210 but ended up getting 218. As soon as it arrived, I tried it on my hand and the color matches perfectly. For reference, 21 beige doesn't suit me, and I usually need to use a darker 21 shade for a good match. It's quite thick and creamy. You'll probably need to warm it up with your body heat before applying!
