When I swatched it on the back of my hand, I thought it would be too deep and not suit me, but it actually matched really well. It's great for a bare-faced look, not too matte or too dewy, just perfect. There are a lot of similar shades, but I don't know how this one is so special - I just keep using this one. I love it! -The subtle and captivating color tones really appealed to me. -It had great staying power and excellent color payoff. -There was no pungent chemical or cosmetic smell. -The packaging was beautiful.

First of all, it applies smoothly and evenly. I've tried quite a few matte lipsticks, and this one was really soft and nice. And in my opinion, it doesn't smear off easily either. The color payoff is also amazing. I'm a bit sensitive to scents, and in the case of Clio's Matte Matte?, I really disliked the distinctive scent.
