  The staying power is truly impressive, and the color is quite unique. The powder is so finely milled that it applies smoothly even with your fingers.

  I have a light undertone and use this daily! The color is absolutely perfect. If you have a light undertone and struggle with pink blushes or pink-purple eyeshadows, give this a try! It creates such a natural makeup look. The packaging is surprisingly luxurious for its small size, and it even comes with a mirror - absolutely perfect!

  Cons

  There's a bit of excess powder fallout, and the price is quite steep. I'd love to buy multiple shades, but even just five would cost a fortune!

  Pros

  The yellow shade 22 with a light undertone is a famous item among cool-toned beauties, so I had to try it. The color is truly unique - you won't find anything like it in drugstores. It's a beautiful mix of light purple with a hint of gray. Even Light Summer types could rock this shade beautifully. The texture is incredibly fine, feeling silky smooth when blended with fingers. The packaging is sleek with a nice weight to it, giving it a luxurious feel.

  Cons

  Due to its ultra-fine texture, there's quite a bit of excess powder kickup. If you can't stand fallout, this is definitely not for you. While the color is pretty, it appeared a bit too bright on my yellowish, dull under-eye area. It seemed slightly mismatched. For those with yellow undertones and dark circles like me, I'd recommend Bobbi Brown's Heather shade instead.

  Tip

  If you have yellowish skin, it's better to apply just a thin layer. Pairing it with Guava creates an even more sophisticated and beautiful look.

  Pros

  As someone with a winter bright complexion, this is all I use these days. I just apply this, add some eyeliner and mascara, and I'm ready to go. It's beautifully pink without being excessive. The texture feels powdery and smooth, the color payoff is great, and there's plenty of product. I'm really satisfied.

  Cons

  There's quite a bit of excess powder, and for those with bright complexions, applying too much can make your skin look dull. A light application will give you that perfectly innocent look.

  Tip

  I use a very fluffy brush to sweep it on in one go.

  The color is absolutely gorgeous! It's a unique, genuine gray-purple shade. While the purple is quite vibrant, it doesn't look too flashy when applied. However, it might not be universally flattering - if you have dark circles or grayish tones around your eyes, this color could make you look a bit raccoon-like. It's beautiful as a shadow, but personally, I love using it as a pop of color in the center of the eyelid. It gives a lovely purple sweet potato vibe!

  Pros

  This eyeshadow has a unique pink + grayish base tone that's hard to find in drugstore brands. It's absolutely perfect for cool-toned muted skin types. The powder is incredibly fine, so it applies super smoothly without any clumping.

  Cons

  At 35000 won for a single eyeshadow, it does feel a bit pricey. Also, because the powder is so fine, it tends to have some fallout. I don't like applying eyeshadow with my fingers, so I use a brush, but when I do, the fallout is really significant.

  Tip

  While I generally prefer using brushes, I apply this eyeshadow with my fingers due to the excess fallout. Finger application reduces the fallout and gives a more adherent finish. Using Cashmere and Plum Smoke together creates a fantastic combination.

  For summer muted tones, shade 22 (Best: soft, medium-high brightness, medium saturation) Let me cut to the chase - it's no exaggeration to say that my light undertone makeup life is divided into before and after discovering Cashmere. It's truly a holy grail product for eye makeup. When I first opened it, I was surprised by how the color appeared more grayish with just a hint of purple, much lighter than expected. However, as if to prove that gray is the best tone for muted skin, it really shines when applied to the face. It's perfect for muted skin tones that look better with less product, and the color is ideal for daily use. While it works well as a base, I prefer using it on its own. No matter what style or color of clothes I wear, makeup with Cashmere always seems to complement it well. The texture is incredibly fine, resulting in a smooth application and excellent color payoff. The case is sturdy and even includes a small mirror, making it convenient for touch-ups on the go.

  Cons

  The fact that Laura Mercier is now a Shiseido line. Honestly, this is the biggest drawback and a major point of discomfort while using it. It gives me a sense of guilt, wondering why I'm splurging on this. If anyone knows a dupe for Cashmere, especially for those with light undertones, please leave a comment. The fine texture is both a pro and a con - it can make the case messy and there's some excess powder. Luckily, Cashmere's lighter shade makes this less of an issue, but with darker colors, you need to dust off your eye area and touch up. In my case, some shadow gets into my eyes, so on days when I use Laura Mercier shadows, I always put my contacts in last and make sure to clean my eyes thoroughly, no matter how tedious it may be.

  Tip

  While it's famous for cool summer and especially muted summer eye shadows, it definitely won't suit everyone. If you find that grayish tones don't work well for you, I highly recommend testing it out (you can still test eye makeup even while wearing a mask). This might be more of a basic tip than a pro tip, but given the excess powder issue, for both color payoff and eye health, make sure to tap off excess product from your brush and control the amount you apply carefully.
