  The Hwahae Testers' favorite! Its standout feature is how smoothly it glides on, like a baby's bottom. The color payoff is excellent, and at around 16,000 won, it's definitely worth every penny. With single eyeshadows from road shops getting pricier these days, some even hitting the 20,000 won range, I'd recommend this one over those. It's likely a best-seller you're all familiar with - a cool-toned single eyeshadow that also works beautifully as a blush. What's more, it comes with a mirror, which is super convenient. The color is uniquely gorgeous - a taupe milk tea or mauve shade that's simply unparalleled in its beauty. It's absolutely stunning!

  Cons

  The case has a slight rattle to it. The part where it's divided in the middle sometimes lifts, which can be a bit bothersome. It's probably a product defect with my particular item.

  Tip

  Try mixing it with your blush for a coordinated, matching look.

  Pros

  This is one of the few contouring eyeshadows that light undertones can use. Of course, it's best to apply just a tiny amount for subtle shading rather than going heavy! It's perfect for adding depth to the inner crease line when you want to amp up your makeup after applying Guava. The matte color is so fine that it blends beautifully!

  Cons

  There are no downsides! It's absolutely wonderful. A rare gem for those with cool, light skin tones.

  Tip

  If you have a light undertone, apply it only to your crease line instead of all over the lid!

  As expected from its reputation, I'm satisfied with both the color payoff and staying power. There's a bit of excess powder, but it's not severe. I love how the soft color application doesn't irritate my eyes. The shades are also unique, hard to find in other drugstore eyeshadows, which is great.

  Glow Cool Bright+17 Shade If you have a cool complexion, this is an absolute must-buy! It's a holy grail product. The pigmentation is fantastic even with a small amount, making it perfect for quick, everyday application. Plus, the powder particles are incredibly fine! Check out the color difference: Cashmere (top) vs. Fresco (bottom)

  The matte-textured, cool-toned lavender-gray eyeshadow is recommended for cool skin tones, but it also creates an intriguing depth when lightly applied on warm skin. It's not overwhelming even when applied broadly, and you can build up the intensity layer by layer. While the effect may vary depending on your complexion, eye area tone, and eye base, when applied after using an eye primer or evening out your skin tone with foundation, it has great staying power. Despite its matte texture, it applies smoothly with a regular brush, creating a soft powder finish. The results can differ based on technique and tools used. It's also a beautiful color when layered as an under-eye shadow or blush.

  I can't find any drawbacks. While it's on the pricier side, it excels in terms of performance.

  As someone with a winter bright complexion, this is all I use these days. I just apply this, add some eyeliner and mascara, and I'm ready to go. It's beautifully pink without being excessive. The texture feels powdery and smooth, the color payoff is great, and there's plenty of product. I'm really satisfied.

  Cons

  There's quite a bit of excess powder, and for those with bright complexions, applying too much can make your skin look dull. A light application will give you that perfectly innocent look.

  Tip

  I use a very fluffy brush to sweep it on in one go.

  The fine particles blend beautifully, creating a sophisticated and subdued color that's truly stunning. From left to right in the photo, you can see Ginger, Fresco, and Cashmere. All three shades have a muted tone, giving a natural and elegant look without being too bold. While the photo might make them appear a bit pale, in reality, they look natural and gorgeous. As someone with warm undertones, I found all three colors flattering. It would be great if they released a blush in the Cashmere shade too!

  Cons

  The click-open mechanism is a bit cumbersome. I'm worried about scratching it with my nails when opening. It would be better if it had a magnetic closure like some blushes do.

  Tip

  These work beautifully as blushes too.

  Honest review of Summer Pale 17. First off, highly recommended for those with deep undertones! The biggest advantage of Laura's shadows is their smooth application and excellent color payoff. Also, the shade is a rare and intriguing mix of gray-brown-purple, making it definitely worth adding to your collection.

  Cons

  It's warm... it's warm... Why is this a holy grail for Summer Cools? It seems to have become a holy grail because many muted tones lean towards warm-muted or are compatible with deep undertones. If you're a Summer Cool but can't pull off warm tones, I wouldn't recommend it.

  Tip

  In the second photo: top - Cashmere, bottom - Rom&nd Lavender. For those in the Summer color family who really want to use this, try layering it lightly over Laura's Guava as a base.

  Hmm, as you use it, other colors might transfer onto the brush. Sometimes it can make you look a bit flushed.

  I don't use it for contouring on the nose or chin because it has a reddish tone.
