I've tried all sorts of cushion foundations, not sparing any expense, but nothing comes close to the Estée Lauder cushion. It applies thinly yet has excellent coverage, and the finish is beautifully seamless without caking. The lasting power and coverage are both excellent👍 Plus, when I set it with a finishing spray, it barely transfers onto my mask. Whenever people compliment my skin and ask what cushion I'm using, I always recommend this one👍
ConsIt seems they've recently reformulated it... No matter how hard I try, I can't find it anywhere.. If I had known, I would have stocked up on at least 10 of them... Usually, when a product is reformulated, it's not as good as the original, so I really hope they just keep selling the old version.. Even if it's close to expiry, I'd be grateful if someone could sell me a refill at a discounted price ㅠㅜ
TipUsing the Estée Lauder cushion is a makeup hack in itself👍

Coverage🌕🌕🌕🌕🌕 I have a bit of flushing on my face, but it covers everything completely! The best part is that it covers not only blemishes but also dark circles. I have quite prominent dark circles, but I'm so glad that it covers them. Spreadability🌕🌕🌕🌕🌗 You know that cool, dewy feeling when you apply it? That's exactly how it was. It felt like it melted into my skin. But you'll need to apply powder after putting on the cushion. Longevity🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑 These days, cushions tend to wear off easily when we're wearing masks. But this one doesn't wear off as much as other cushions. It's also a good cushion for touch-ups.
ConsAs time goes by, it starts to feel a bit lifted. But you can fix that by doing some touch-ups. Since it's a dewy cushion, if you don't use powder, your hair will stick to your face. Applying powder makes it look nice and fresh.

Moisturizing and lightweight application (❁´▽`❁)*✲゚* - The product applies very moisturizing and lightweight, which I liked! The moisturizing and lightweight application makes it good to use for touch-ups. 2. Soft, non-shiny finish (❁´▽`❁)*✲゚* - It felt very moisturizing when I applied it, but over time it became very soft. It's not completely drying, though. I think this would be good for oily skin types or those who want a non-shiny finish. 3. Covers redness well (❁´▽`❁)*✲゚* - I have reddish skin due to flushing and blemishes, but the cushion covered the redness well. I used to have to use color correctors or concealers along with foundation or cushion, but this product was able to cover the redness without needing additional products, which saved me time in my makeup routine. 4. Elegant case design (❁´▽`❁)*✲゚* - In addition to the product performance, the case design is also an important consideration. The case design is cleaner and more premium-looking than I expected. It's a shame the beauty couldn't be fully captured in the photos. 5. Diverse shade range (❁´▽`❁)*✲゚* - The Hwahae Trial Reviewers were provided with [Original] and [Cool Vanilla] shades, but the product originally comes in 6 different shades, so you can choose a color that matches your skin tone. 6. High SPF protection (❁´▽`❁)*✲゚* - This cushion has high SPF50/PA++++ sun protection. Of course, it's still best to apply sunscreen separately, but on busy mornings or when it's inconvenient, using just this cushion can provide peace of mind.
Cons1. Case design (。ŏ﹏ŏ) - The case design seems to be a bit polarizing. I was a bit disappointed by the design before receiving it. And the mirrored exterior of the case means it easily shows fingerprints, which is a bit of a downside. 2. Price (。ŏ﹏ŏ) - The full-size product is around 70,000 won, and the refill is around 38,000 won, which isn't exactly inexpensive. Considering you can buy good quality, affordable products for the refill price, the price point feels a bit high. For example, the Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation is 30ml for 70,000 won, while this cushion is 12g for 70,000 won, so I might just opt for the foundation and a more affordable cushion instead. 3. Product volume (。ŏ﹏ŏ) - Most cushions are around 15g, and some even have significantly more volume, but this one is only 12g, which feels a bit low in volume. If you're only using it for touch-ups, it might be fine, but using it as your full base makeup, the amount might feel a bit lacking. 4. Coverage (。ŏ﹏ŏ) - As mentioned in the pros, it covers redness well, but it doesn't seem to cover blemishes and larger imperfections as effectively. So you might need to use a concealer along with this product to cover those areas. 5. Emphasizes flakiness (。ŏ﹏ŏ) - As it gets more matte over time, I did notice it emphasized flakiness a bit. Proper exfoliation and a solid skincare routine would be recommended. 6. Wear and transfer (。ŏ﹏ŏ) - With the constant mask-wearing these days, I'm very conscious of transfer. After wearing the mask for a while, the product did start to wear off and transfer a bit in the areas that touched the mask. It's an unavoidable issue, but I still wanted to mention it as a downside.
Tip1. Use concealer together ٩(๑>ꇴ< ๑)و - This cushion was able to cover my redness to a certain extent, but didn't perfectly cover blemishes and larger imperfections. So for those looking for flawless coverage, I'd recommend using a concealer together. Applying concealer first can help you use less cushion product and achieve a lighter, more natural-looking coverage. 2. Use powder/setting spray ٩(๑>ꇴ< ๑)و - As everyone already knows, applying a light layer of powder or using a setting spray at the end of your makeup routine can help improve the wear and transfer-resistance, especially when wearing a mask.

A small amount spreads evenly, and in my case, the built-in puff alone was able to cover the pores on the T-zone well. However, since I have dark circles and pigmentation around the mouth area, I had to apply an extra thin layer to cover those areas. In that case, I didn't really need a concealer. The coverage seems to last about 8 hours in the current weather conditions! Of course, the areas where the mask touches (bridge of the nose, upper cheeks) tend to wear off a bit faster, but even when it starts to break down, it still looks nice and natural. ☆Adherence I only used the built-in puff to apply it, and it went on smoothly without any patchiness. Since I have an oily skin type, those with dry skin may need to apply a more moisturizing base before using it to get the desired adherence. The amount that transfers to the mask or phone screen is similar to a typical cushion.
Cons☆Puff The puff is not terrible, but it could be better. If the puff you prefer to use doesn't work poorly with the product, using a different puff could be an option. ☆Price It's true that it's an excellent product, but the price is a bit burdensome. The high price may make me think carefully before repurchasing.
TipThe puff doesn't apply the product well on the nose area. On days when you need to pay extra attention to coverage, using a brush to apply it might not be a bad idea.

Cushion products often have difficulty controlling the amount, but this cushion doesn't pick up a lot of product at once, so I could apply it thinly. Applying it thinly gave good adherence without looking thick and heavy. As you can see in the photo, the redness coverage is really good, and even small and faint blemishes are somewhat concealed. Above all, it has a very pretty glow because it's so moisturizing. My cheeks and forehead are extremely dry, and makeup usually cakes or cracks, but this product didn't have that problem. In fact, it was moisturizing enough that I could even use powder on top.
ConsThe most disappointing aspect is the color. Since my skin is fair, I use a lighter shade than 21. As shown in the swatch on my wrist, this product is slightly darker and has more of a yellow tone than my skin (even though I have a very yellow warm-toned complexion, the foundation looks more yellow). Although the photo looks brighter due to the lighting and angle, in reality it looks very dark on my face. It doesn't give a brightening effect, and over time my face looks even darker.
TipI think the best skin expression is to apply the cushion thinly and use a concealer for any remaining uncovered blemishes. If you have fair skin, I would recommend using the porcelain shade! In my case, it's too dark to use on its own, so I have to mix it with another lighter foundation.

Trial Reviewers' reviews undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsI have combination skin and use shade 21 in cool-toned foundations! When I first used the product, I was pleasantly surprised by how well it applied and how great the pore coverage was, even though my skin condition wasn't the best. It went on smoothly and didn't feel heavy or cakey. It also adhered well to my skin. I usually have trouble with my nose area when doing makeup, as the coverage can look unnatural and emphasize my pores. But this product is excellent at covering pores - it fills them in seamlessly without any cakiness. I didn't even need to use a primer, which was really satisfying. I have cool-toned skin but also some redness and blemishes, so I chose this color and was pleased that it covered the redness well and blended naturally with my skin tone.
ConsThe downsides: 1. The coverage isn't as high as I expected, and even layering it doesn't completely hide my blemish marks. 2. The longevity is disappointing, and it can look messy when it starts to break down. After wearing it for about an hour with a mask on, it had already worn off quite a bit and was difficult to touch up.
TipI find this product works well for quick, natural-looking makeup or touch-ups throughout the day. I like to use it when I want a lightweight, effortless makeup look.

The design was also pretty.
ConsIt didn't seem to suit my extremely sensitive skin, as I developed small pimple-like bumps the very next day after using it. :(
TipThose with very sensitive skin should avoid this... :(

It's great to carry around for touch-ups!
ConsBut... when it starts to break down, it just doesn't look good at all. I'd say it looks really dull. The oil content is surprisingly high, so it gets really shiny and greasy, but then it also dries out my skin a lot, so if I don't really moisturize well, it clings terribly. I probably won't buy it again.

Even my dry-skinned friend said it was great. I think this cushion has the best longevity and coverage among the ones sold in the market.
ConsThe moisturizing quality is both an advantage and a disadvantage compared to foundation. While the longevity is good, it feels a bit difficult to switch from using foundation to using this cushion.

ConsAfter morning makeup application, by around 2-3 pm, some skin imperfections start to show through. The breakdown is not too messy, but the oil coming through doesn't seem to blend in nicely, and the T-zone area even looks a bit dry.
TipIt would be good for touch-ups, and you'd need to apply a good base primer first.
