  I think I've been using this product for about 3 years now. I have sensitive skin and oily T-zone, and at first I thought it was a bit irritating, but once I got used to it, it became so moisturizing, helped control redness, and was just amazing. I'm not an employee, this is a real review. It works great for cleansing and toning - it's moisturizing and helps with dryness. This toner should not be discontinued, I really hope it stays available.

  If the witch hazel ingredient doesn't agree with you, I wouldn't recommend this. At first, it can give a stinging sensation and might not be suitable for everyone. There is a slight sticky feeling initially as well.

  Pros

  This is a very thorough and diligent cleansing routine! After cleansing with the cleansing balm-mild foam, I soak a cotton pad with toner and do the first cleansing. For the second cleansing, I gently pat it in to help it absorb, and everything is just about perfectly satisfactory.

  Cons

  The lack of various sizes is a downside? I'm a bit worried about the witch hazel ingredient (no alcohol!!!) as it may feel a bit irritating and stimulating for me.

  Tip

  The combination of the cotton pads and honey is great! Soaking the toner in them and using them as a pack-like treatment on the T-zone is very effective for quickly soothing any heat or irritation. Even if not doing a full 7-skin method, doing 3-4 layers works well too.

The stinging sensation I felt right after applying it was the biggest issue I couldn't get used to. Even though I kept using it consistently thinking I'd get used to it, my face just kept getting red and more sensitive. I've been fine with other skincare products, but ever since I switched to using this toner, my face has become dry, bumpy, and red. I tried to finish the whole bottle, but it just wasn't working for me. It seems like products with a high content of witch hazel extract are not a good match for my skin.

  1. It says it's non-alcoholic, but as soon as I touched the cotton, a strong alcohol smell came up 2. The derma clear felt very irritating and sticky when it touched my skin 3.
