It's not a matte primer like Double Wear, but rather a hydrating primer that pairs well with the matte Double Wear foundation.   I was selected as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer and got to experience the 'Flawless Hydrating Primer' from 'Estée Lauder', which is something that every woman has probably tried at least once or owned. They sent me 13 samples to thoroughly test for about 14 weeks. The primer's functions are probably already known to you, but: 1. Texture: It has a runny texture and feels very moisturizing when applied. Since it has a base function, it doesn't look too white and the thin texture means it spreads well without caking. If you apply it evenly all over the face and adjust the amount, you can use it as an all-in-one product without any issues. 2. Longevity: When used alone, there was a bit of tightness as mentioned before, but the oil control and whitening effects lasted longer than the other products I use. It lasted for over 5 hours maximum. It seems to perform its primer functions to the best of its abilities. There was almost no caking or clumping, and it didn't slide much even under a mask! 3. Functionality: While it's not a major whitening product, the brightening effect is around 4 out of 10. Plus, it has an impressive SPF 45 with PA+++ protection! For simple outings, this alone would be sufficient! (in terms of functionality only...)
