Absorbs smoothly and provides full coverage with just a small amount! Although pricey, it seems like it will last a long time. The SPF and PA ratings make it a potential sunscreen substitute. I bought this because it was said to pair well with Double Wear, but it actually made the foundation pill and float on my skin. Upon reflection, I think its high oil content caused my makeup to smudge and slide off. Double Wear alone seems to have better adherence and longevity. I have combination skin leaning towards oily with large pores. Usually, by afternoon, foundation tends to settle into my pores, mixing with sebum. Even after using a mist to calm my skin, the pore-settling issue returns within a couple of hours. I've tried most primers out there. I received this as a gratis with a foundation purchase and it had been sitting unused. I decided to give it a try one day. You must shake it well before applying. The texture is almost like a toner. Unlike other primers I've used, which were thick and creamy and seemed to fill in pores before foundation application, this one is very liquid. I was skeptical about its pore-covering ability. However, after applying it mainly to my T-zone and other oily areas like chin and nose, my foundation stayed put without settling into pores until the end of the workday. It seems to control sebum effectively, though it might not suit dry skin types. I'm very satisfied with this - it's one of the best primers I've used so far. I'll likely purchase the full size when this runs out. I just hope it doesn't get discontinued! You need to shake it before use, and the opaque container means you can't see how much product is left. The cap is tight and difficult to open. Also, the glossy cap shows fingerprints easily. Since it's a primer that really controls sebum, you should probably apply a thorough skincare routine beforehand. I have combination dehydrated skin that's super sensitive and prone to redness. My skin is particularly vulnerable to oils, heavy moisturizers, strong vitamin ingredients, and alcohol. Pores are my biggest concern. I usually avoid sunscreen due to blemishes from certain ingredients. The subtle fragrance is lovely. It creates a perfect canvas for foundation application. However, apart from that, there don't seem to be many positives. The overly matte finish feels a bit heavy on the skin. I used this before applying Double Wear foundation, and I love how it absorbs well and prevents dryness. These days, I sometimes go out wearing just this. When I use Double Wear foundation alone, my face feels like it might crack from dryness. But when I pair it with this primer, the dryness is noticeably reduced. However, whenever I apply makeup, I get blemishes. Since I didn't have any issues when I used Double Wear foundation alone before, I suspect it's because of the primer. Sadly, I can't use it anymore due to the skin troubles it causes.
