I was hesitant due to its small size (about half a palm) and not-so-friendly price, but I decided to try it as I wanted to switch from my matte makeup base. The texture feels like a light foundation mixed with whipped cream - it's incredibly smooth! It applies moisturizing and soft without any pilling, making it perfect for dry seasons. A little goes a long way, so you can easily apply it with your fingers. What I love most is its natural brightening effect and glow. While some may disagree, I'm not a fan of bases that give an artificial blue, green, or white tone-up. This product has a light foundation color, giving a natural complexion enhancement and Inner Glow even when used alone. It's so good I want to keep using it as my go-to base. When I use this as a base under my cushion, the staying power is impressive. With a light powder touch-up around 3-4 PM, it lasts all day. As a 40-year-old with dry skin, I'd say it maintains about 70% of its effect, with slight darkening (blame it on my age, haha). Still, it's easily in my top 3 bases I've ever used - I'm very satisfied!
ConsThe price is the main drawback... You could buy two decent bases for this cost, not to mention the disappointing volume and basic plastic packaging. Both Les Beiges foundation and base have a clean look, but the containers feel more like department store testers.
TipSince it's a hydrating base, I find it works better to wait a bit after application before applying the cushion foundation.

So I've been trying to keep my makeup routine simple and used this as a sunscreen alternative. It's moisturizing, and the peach scent of Les Beiges is absolutely divine. When applied, it brightens my complexion by a shade, making me wish I could just use this alone if my skin was perfect. Even when I only use a moisturizer and the Vita Lumière cushion for makeup, it doesn't feel dry or like I've skimped on my routine. My skin texture looks amazing!
ConsIt's fantastic, but the price is a bit steep. I can't help but use it sparingly, which is a shame.
TipWhen you're too lazy for a full face of makeup, just apply this and dab on some cushion foundation, and you're good to go!

I prefer a subtle 'your skin but better' look with light coverage. It applies incredibly lightweight, offers moderate coverage, and leaves skin feeling comfortably moisturized without hair sticking to it. The finish is soft and silky, not dry or cakey at all! I'm really understanding why they say to invest in a good base... When I met a friend after testing it, she was amazed at how gorgeous my skin looked. I have fair skin, so I tried the lightest shade and I'm very satisfied. I've been searching for a replacement since my Espoir Hydrating Foundation was discontinued, and I think I've found it. This is the ultimate product for those blessed with good skin. The store claimed it lasts 4 hours, but for me (I don't get oily, but I do sweat a lot), it's still flawless after 3 hours even in this scorching weather!
ConsThe price is truly wicked, making me hesitate to buy it. The amount you get is really small too. Also, when testing foundations, they usually apply it on clean skin with just a thin layer of toner, emulsion, and moisturizer. This creates a beautiful skin finish with foundation and cushion. However, if you're like me and apply sunscreen generously before foundation, you'll need to consider how it interacts with your sunscreen. The way the foundation sits on your skin can vary depending on the texture and how moisturizing or drying your sunscreen is.
TipUsing the foundation and cushion together creates an unbeatable skin finish. It truly makes your skin look beautiful, like luminous porcelain. For the best results, they say to apply a thin layer with a foundation brush, then pat it in with a puff.
