The color is very natural with just the right amount of glow, and I love the scent! While it gives a natural glow, it rubs off quickly when wearing a mask. Because it's glowy and moisturizing, when I apply a matte foundation over it, it doesn't blend well and causes pilling. - iy********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 3, 2021
I love how natural it looks. I've been using it instead of sunscreen. Make sure to buy the light shade! The other shades can darken your skin tone. - ee*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 20, 2020
It's easy to apply and makes my skin look great. The 'Light' shade isn't too bright, so I bought it as someone with a 22-23 skin tone. While it's not primarily designed for longevity or coverage, the staying power is quite weak. - la*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 15, 2019
Hydrating, lightweight, and a perfect shade (not too bright). It applies beautifully, adhering to the skin with a plump finish. Since I don't typically have many blemishes, I can enjoy using this with Chanel's signature scent. If it weren't for the price, it would be my daily go-to! The high price point, coupled with its low coverage and longevity, can be disappointing. It's important to remember that this isn't a foundation, but a tinted moisturizer, so don't expect high coverage or long-lasting wear. I recommend mixing it with your regular hydrating cushion foundation. The application and adherence to the skin are truly excellent. - sw*********Dry SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresOct 29, 2019
Among the Laneige line, this felt the most hydrating to me. The packaging is clean and beautiful - very Chanel-like, exuding luxury. Even though it's supposed to be light, the color is dark. When applied to the skin, it gives that feeling of 'did I even put anything on?' While most tinted moisturizers are like that, this one was... a bit extreme. I've used tinted moisturizers from Laura Mercier, Kiehl's, and Benefit before, and this was the least impressive for its price. In terms of product quality alone, it might compete well, but it's quite expensive, isn't it? It works great as a makeup base! Think of it as a rather hydrating sunscreen. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinJul 2, 2019
The color looks natural and it feels moisturizing. It gives a nice glow too. After wearing it all day, my entire face broke out in red bumps! It's not suitable for my super sensitive skin... Also, this alone doesn't provide enough coverage. You need to apply cushion foundation on top, which for me is a bit... It makes my skin too oily and the color is too dark. I'd rather recommend a foundation instead. - xx******Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 5, 2019
Based on shade 21, it gives a naturally subtle color (though it seems to fade by evening). Applied over Cellfusion C Laser Sunscreen 100, it gave a beautiful glow and made my skin look gorgeous. It doesn't break down messily. It's hydrating and didn't cause any makeup to separate. While not full coverage, it's sufficient when used with NARS concealer for a natural look. When removing makeup in the evening, not much comes off on cleansing wipes, suggesting it fades as skin gets oilier (which might contribute to that natural, bare-skin look). As hydrating as it is, it can get a bit oily for summer wear. In the evening when oil builds up, lightly blotting with a tissue (avoiding the nose bridge and cheekbones) leaves a perfect, beautiful glow. Compared to NARS Sheer Glow foundation in Gobi, Chanel feels more pink-based while NARS is more yellow-based. Though tempted to switch to Chanel, I decided to stick with NARS as it's less oily for my combination dehydrated skin, and I personally prefer a yellow base. - be******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 26, 2019
I'm using this as a lightweight base layer. The texture is great - it spreads beautifully even with just your fingers, no need for a puff or brush. After application, it seems to give my skin a radiant 'is it mine or not?' kind of glow. The packaging is really unattractive, even less appealing than a sunscreen bottle. And it's not like it's a large amount or particularly affordable either. I think this pairs well with the Chanel cushion. If you apply this, dab on a bit of concealer, then lightly pat some cushion on your forehead, cheekbones, and nose, your complexion looks incredibly healthy. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 13, 2019
Looks natural Moisturizing due to its light texture Evens out the complexion to some extent Poor staying power Expensive When used for a natural look, it fades within an hour, leaving you looking bare-faced Recommends Chanel cushion foundation instead of tinted moisturizer - ai********Oily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 4, 2019
The fragrance is lovely and it absorbs well. However, when I apply it with Bobby Balm, it tends to pill on drier areas. So I've been patting it on gently and only rubbing it in on areas where I'm concerned about pores. The downside is that it fades by the afternoon. But it's still different from having a bare face in the evening. I have oily skin, so I blot with tissue and don't touch up, yet it doesn't turn into that dull, bare-faced look. It's lightweight and looks natural, which is great!
