Pros
The spray format allows for wide coverage, though it might run out quickly! I found it worked well even on hair that's only been shampooed without treatment, but of course, using a treatment makes it even better. The essence has a water-like consistency, which absorbs quickly and doesn't weigh down your hair. This was my favorite aspect. Don't be fooled though - it's not light on results. It gives just the right amount of shine while nourishing the hair nicely. I personally love this level of richness. The scent is a refreshing and sweet blend - the fresh part is citrusy, almost like orange, while the sweet note reminds me a bit of yogurt!
Cons
As someone who prefers subtle fragrances, the scent isn't quite to my taste. However, I can't deny the effectiveness of the product.
Tip
For best results, try applying it first to damp hair, then follow up with a bit of hair oil.

Pros
The fragrance is lovely, and you can feel your hair becoming incredibly silky the moment you apply it. When used on damp hair before blow-drying, it seems to significantly reduce heat damage.
Cons
Since it's a spray formula, it might splatter if applied directly to your hair. I prefer to dispense it into my palm before use.

♠ My hair is thin and color-treated, so it's prone to damage. ♠ I've tried many different hair products, but I don't think I've repurchased any. I bought this because people said it was good. ♠ After towel-drying, I dry my scalp and then apply it from the ends to about midway up my damp hair. ♠ After blow-drying, the rough ends of my hair that were damaged feel soft and smooth. ♠ I'm not sure if my hair texture has really improved, but I keep using it because people say it's good.
Cons
♣ The container doesn't show how much product is left. ♣ It's a spray type, so it splatters everywhere. ♣ It's expensive. ♣ The ingredients aren't great either. Alcohol is near the top of the list, and there are several different types of it. ♣ The fragrance might be hit or miss. Some days I like it, other days it feels too strong. ♣ If you use it as directed, spraying four or five times, your hair becomes flat and weighed down. ♣ I'm not sure if it's because of this, but it seems like I'm losing more hair.
Tip
★ I spray it into my palm and then apply it. ★ After blow-drying, I apply oat oil. ★ If you use the oat conditioner and oat shampoo together, the same fragrance lasts longer.

Pros
My hair type: thick, wavy, and prone to frizz + bleached hair. I've tried various oils, essences, and leave-in treatments from other brands, but this product has been the best by far. I spray it all over before blow-drying and pump it into my hands about three times to apply to the ends. Despite my bleached hair typically taking ages to dry, this product quickly nourishes it, reducing drying time. It tames my hair and instantly softens its texture. I think using it with the shampoo and conditioner from the same line would yield even better results.
Cons
The scent is quite strong, which might be overwhelming for some. While it's on the pricier side, I recommend purchasing it during bundle discount promotions on the official website.

Pros
Top-notch hair essence! The fragrance is lovely and the product performance is excellent. I spray it about three times into my palms and apply it only to the lower part of my hair before blow-drying. It leaves my hair smooth, calm, and hydrated without any frizz.
Cons
Nothing negative yet, but I suppose the price could be a concern...? However, it's not even among the pricier Davines products, so I'm satisfied with it at this price point.
Tip
Spray it two or three times into your palms and apply it while drying your hair, then finish drying. It leaves your hair incredibly moisturized.

I really liked the scent! After three pumps applied to the hair ends and blow-drying, my hair feels so soft at the tips.

Pros
For those with very curly hair, divide your hair in half and spray three times on each side before drying. This helps achieve a smoother blowout.
Cons
The pump is too forceful and the fragrance is overwhelmingly strong. Unfortunately, it's not a scent I particularly enjoy.
Tip
It's best to pump some product into your hands and distribute it evenly through your hair before drying. I found that spraying directly onto the hair wasn't as effective.
