The spray formulation allows for wide application, but because of that, it seems to be used up quickly. Even without using a treatment, it was fine to spray it on hair that had only been shampooed and let it dry. Of course, it's even better if you use a treatment as well. The essence is in a spray type, so the formulation is watery. This allows for quick absorption and prevents the hair from feeling heavy. This was the aspect I liked the most. But that doesn't mean the effects are light - it provides an appropriate amount of shine and good nourishment. I personally prefer this level of oiliness. The fragrance is refreshingly sweet, with a citrusy, slightly orange-like freshness and a subtly yogurt-like sweetness.

This is the best hair essence! The scent is great and the product performance is excellent. I spray it 3 times onto my palm, apply it just to the lower part of my hair, and then blow-dry. It doesn't make my hair feel heavy, but instead leaves it calmly and moisturized.
Cons
I don't have any yet, but I suppose it's about the price...? It's not the most expensive among Davines products, so I'm quite satisfied with this.

If your hair is very curly, you can divide your hair in half and spray it three times before drying to dry it calmly.
Cons
The pumping is too intense and the fragrance is too, too, too strong 😢 I'm disappointed because it's not a scent I like.
