The spray format allows for wide coverage, though it might run out quickly! I found it worked well even on hair that's only been shampooed without treatment, but of course, using a treatment makes it even better. The essence has a water-like consistency, which absorbs quickly and doesn't weigh down your hair. This was my favorite aspect. Don't be fooled though - it's not light on results. It gives just the right amount of shine while nourishing the hair nicely. I personally love this level of richness. The scent is a refreshing and sweet blend - the fresh part is citrusy, almost like orange, while the sweet note reminds me a bit of yogurt! As someone who prefers subtle fragrances, the scent isn't quite to my taste. However, I can't deny the effectiveness of the product. For best results, try applying it first to damp hair, then follow up with a bit of hair oil.

The fragrance is lovely, and you can feel your hair becoming incredibly silky the moment you apply it. When used on damp hair before blow-drying, it seems to significantly reduce heat damage. It absorbs well without feeling slippery when sprayed and applied. The lightweight formula doesn't weigh your hair down or make it feel heavy. For severely damaged hair, this alone isn't enough - you'll need to use a separate treatment. The spray nozzle can be tricky to aim precisely at your hair. My hair type: thick, wavy, and prone to frizz + bleached hair. I've tried various oils, essences, and leave-in treatments from other brands, but this product has been the best by far. I spray it all over before blow-drying and pump it into my hands about three times to apply to the ends. Despite my bleached hair typically taking ages to dry, this product quickly nourishes it, reducing drying time. It tames my hair and instantly softens its texture. I think using it with the shampoo and conditioner from the same line would yield even better results. The scent is quite strong, which might be overwhelming for some. I bought this on my hairstylist's recommendation. They said it fills in protein to make hair healthier. While I can't say I've noticed significant improvements, I haven't seen any negative effects either. It has a slightly thicker consistency compared to other protein essences I've tried lately, but it still leaves a light finish after application. The price is absolutely brutal... It's sold for around $50 at hair salons and Ol**ve Young, but honestly, it doesn't seem worth that much. Using this alone won't magically transform your hair, especially for those with damaged hair like mine.
