I, who enjoys subtle fragrances, find the scent to be quite unsuitable for my taste. However, I acknowledge the product's quality.

The spray formulation allows for wide application, but because of that, it seems to be used up quickly. 
Even without using a treatment, it was fine to spray it on hair that had only been shampooed and let it dry. Of course, it's even better if you use a treatment as well.
The essence is in a spray type, so the formulation is watery. This allows for quick absorption and prevents the hair from feeling heavy. This was the aspect I liked the most. But that doesn't mean the effects are light - it provides an appropriate amount of shine and good nourishment. I personally prefer this level of oiliness.
The fragrance is refreshingly sweet, with a citrusy, slightly orange-like freshness and a subtly yogurt-like sweetness.
