It's gentle and leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft and matte. As you can see in the photo, the formula itself is extremely matte. For someone like me who dislikes the greasy feeling of typical sunsticks, this one works perfectly. I also appreciate the hygienic design with the inner cap. Due to its matte nature, there can be some excess powder fallout and it doesn't always spread evenly. However, I'm willing to overlook these minor issues and continue using it. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMay 21, 2020
The ingredients are truly excellent, gentle enough even for babies to use. There's a significant amount of excess powder that falls off. It also leaves some white residue and doesn't absorb well. - wo******Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresMay 3, 2020
Wow...! I used this last year, but it's already discontinued. Haha! The stick format is convenient, and the double cap gives me peace of mind about hygiene. It doesn't leave a white cast and doesn't irritate my eyes. It's so dry! Before using this sunstick, I usually layer toner - oil - cream - oil, and it applies smoothly. However, it's difficult to apply makeup over it as it tends to break down... It's just too hard to watch. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinApr 8, 2020
What I loved: Being a mineral sunscreen, it was incredibly gentle. I accidentally fell asleep with it on, and I've never had any blemishes break out on my face. What could be improved: Sigh... I really dislike this product. First off, it attracts dust like a magnet, so when I apply the sunstick, all that dust transfers to my face. The absorption is terrible too - it feels extremely dry and cakey. Even worse, despite being dry, it clumps up and causes my makeup to pill. I totally regret purchasing this product... Since it's so dry, I found spraying some facial mist on the sunstick before use makes it work much better for me than before. - he****Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 22, 2020
Being a mineral sunscreen, it provides better UV protection. It's easy and convenient to apply. There was a slight white cast, and it didn't work well with makeup, causing it to separate or pill, which was disappointing. - sn*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 8, 2020
This mineral sunscreen stick is great for beginners. It's so convenient to use! There's hardly any white cast, no pilling, and it's just so comfortable. It also plays well with makeup. I can't find anything to complain about. The ingredients are good, and it absorbs so well that I reach for it every day. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedFeb 16, 2020
It's easier to apply than sunscreen and doesn't feel sticky at all. I really like it! It's not bad, except for the fact that dust tends to stick to the sun stick. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedNov 22, 2019
The finish is really nice. It's not sticky at all, so I can use it comfortably with my kids. There's nothing particularly bad about it. While there aren't any major drawbacks, it's not exceptionally great either. It seems like it's hard to find a sunscreen that's 100% satisfactory. - bl**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 29, 2019
- Great value for money - you can get two sticks for just over $10 when bought at the lowest online price - One of the few mineral sunscreen sticks available - Not sure if it's just me, but when applied well, it gives a slight pinkish glow that makes the skin look soft and smooth - Despite being a sunstick, it feels very powdery, probably due to its mineral sunscreen formulation - For the same reason, it doesn't apply smoothly and you need to pat it in with your fingers to avoid clumping - The oval shape makes it difficult to apply in tricky areas like around the nose, so you end up using your fingers anyway - The durability doesn't seem great - Separate from the product itself, it's hard to gauge how much to apply to achieve the stated SPF protection I chose this for easier sun protection, but in the end, you still need to pat it in and blend it out to avoid patchiness or clumping, just like with regular sunscreen. Sometimes I wish sunsticks came with a silicone blender attached at the bottom to really complete the convenience factor of the sunstick category... but that's probably unlikely to happen. There aren't many options for purely mineral sunsticks, so alternatives to this one are limited. Considering how often you need to apply sunscreen and how pricey some can be, this might be the most basic and accessible option. It's best to use a proper first cleanser, as soap or foam cleansers alone won't completely remove this product. I'd recommend using this as a touch-up product when you're out, rather than as your main sunscreen. Apply your regular sunscreen before going out, then use this for reapplication throughout the day. The photo shows the level of white cast after one layer - it's about average for a mineral sunscreen. If it suits your skin tone, it can act as a brightening moisturizer; if not, it might leave a noticeable white cast. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 24, 2019
Wow, it's fantastic! I bought two based on the ingredients. For the best application, make sure to moisturize your face well beforehand. If you dislike sticky products, this is highly recommended! Hmm... the downside? Those who don't moisturize their skin sufficiently might find it a bit dry. But if you use a good moisturizer before applying, it should work great! After using toner, essence, and a good moisturizer, it glides on smoothly. Using it after a sheet mask gives you an even better glow! The ingredients are really excellent.
