I have a scalp that tends to get hot easily, leading to quick buildup and lots of dead skin cells. When I'm not feeling my best, I'm prone to blemishes too - it's quite sensitive, unfortunately! I previously used Dr. For Hair's basic line, but this time I wanted to try switching up my shampoo, so I did some research. The Phytotherapy shampoo has a fresh lemon scent that's subtle enough to be universally appealing. I was pleased to find it lathers up nicely too. When I tried it, even with my sensitive scalp, it didn't cause any irritation or blemishes, which I really appreciated.

The cleansing effectiveness was weaker than I expected. It doesn't quite manage to control oiliness! If you have oily hair, it might get greasy again pretty quickly.

The fragrance was pleasantly tart and sweet, with a nice lemon aroma. The smooth, creamy feel of the protein shampoo was evident. It also had decent cleansing power, which I was satisfied with. The lather was also good! (While the Trichelle shampoo felt more moisturizing and improved hair texture, it seemed to have slightly less cleansing power, so I alternated between the two.)
Cons
The price is disappointing...ㅠㅠ The volume is too small for the price, so it only lasted me about a month with my long hair. I wish they would come out with a 1000ml large size.

Moisturizing, smooth and soft to use without tangling hair. Pleasant citrus scent. Abundant lather. Comfortable and unremarkable usage experience for my oily scalp. Seems suitable for dry and unbalanced normal-to-dry scalp types. While marketed as suitable for all scalp types, this may vary depending on individual scalp condition. Bulk purchase was more cost-effective than a single unit.

Although it seemed good at first, after using it for a few days, it was not adequate as a daily item for my oily scalp. Pros
Using a shampoo with good ingredients means the cleansing power is reduced, so I end up compromising with another brand's product... But now I've settled on one that doesn't compromise cleansing power and has gentle ingredients. The scent is also lemon-like(?) and I like it. It doesn't feel like an artificial scent. If the scent is too sweet and fragrant, I feel like I might even throw up, so I prefer a refreshing one. I do use body wash, but in any case, I don't get back acne or anything like that.

If you don't dry your hair properly, the oiliness builds up quickly. You really need to make sure to thoroughly dry your scalp with a blow dryer. If you don't use a conditioner, your hair gets too stiff and brittle.
