The volume is a great value at around 120ml.
ConsIf you apply too much, it pills like dead skin cells. This is especially noticeable when used with sunscreen or BB cream, making it look more like flaky skin or grime.
TipTry storing it in the fridge for a cool application.

I found it great for reducing facial heat. My skin became super sensitive after using the wrong cosmetics, so I can't use just any product, but currently, I'm using this and the Hada Labo skincare set successfully.
ConsIt feels more like a gel pack sitting on your face rather than absorbing into the skin. Perhaps because of this, it comes off like dead skin cells when you rub it even slightly. Also, I developed contact dermatitis from wearing a mask, and this product caused a slight tingling sensation in those areas. Update: I used to apply it as the last step in my skincare routine, but now I use it as the first step, and the gel pack feeling and the peeling issue have disappeared!
TipTry keeping it in the refrigerator before use

It's a gel, but more like a jelly-gel if that makes sense? It's not a runny gel consistency.
ConsI'm done with drugstore skincare from now on. The Etude Collagen line really didn't work for me, so I swore off Etude products. But then I tried the Soon Jung line because Hwahae showed it had zero harmful ingredients. Big mistake - my skin completely flared up. I broke out in red, swollen bumps like mosquito bites, and got all these blemishes... I barely got it under control at the dermatologist, but it's flaring up again. And it pills like crazy. It might be due to dead skin cells, but I exfoliate regularly. I don't think it's that - it seems to be the product's formulation. It pills on my body and hands too, like dead skin coming off... I don't know what skincare to buy anymore. I think I'll just stick to the pricier Dokdo products.
TipIf you have super sensitive skin like me, don't just buy something because it claims to have zero harmful ingredients. Get a sample from the store first and test it on your jaw or cheek before deciding. Don't let your skin get irritated like mine did!

Used it for 3 months Purchased with my own money 1. Great for calming skin after popping pimples or as a soothing mask for blemishes. 2. If you apply a thin layer, it doesn't pill and works well for oily skin. Feels refreshing. 3. It's cooling... seems to bring down skin temperature for a while. Perfect for summer use. 4. The ingredients are good. 5. When it's on sale, the price is reasonable, making it great for frequent use!
Cons1. If you apply too much, it pills like dead skin cells. 2. Not sure if it's a container issue or formula problem, but it's hard to get out. It also gets messy around the container opening. 3. If you apply a small amount, it feels dry and like you've applied egg whites. It's difficult to apply a lot, which is a drawback. Why? Because it runs like water.
TipIt's okay to buy when it's on sale because the price is cheap, but I don't like using it because it pills like dead skin cells if you apply too much. There are many other good gels out there, so try something else. I recommend this if you want to exfoliate your face with a cheap product.

It also seems to cause fewer blemishes...
ConsI feel it's not enough to rely on this product alone for hydration during winter. After just 3 hours, my face feels tight. When I apply sunscreen, it gets dry, and if I try to layer more on top, it pills like dead skin cells.

It's a total game-changer for soothing the skin. Everyone needs to buy this, seriously! Every change of season, my skin would get super rough, and as soon as I applied foundation, it was like a party of tiny blemishes, bumpy texture, and uneven skin. But then I used this at night, followed by a runny emulsion, and oh my goodness! The next morning, I was truly moved by the results. I need to stock up on this before I run out!
ConsThere are no downsides! If I had to nitpick, I'd say that if you apply it too thickly, it might pill a bit. But even that's not an issue if you finish with a runny emulsion and gently pat it in.
TipThese days, I'm keeping my skincare routine simple - just this product and a runny emulsion, and I'm done!

When I apply it before bed, my skin feels incredibly smooth the next day, and I notice it helps reduce blemishes to some extent. It's incomparable to other aloe soothing creams out there. I'm 100% going to repurchase! In summer, when my face heats up after sun exposure, I apply this product and feel the cool breeze - it's so soothing as it brings down the temperature. Also, when my skin gets irritated from makeup and heavy air pollution, applying this leaves my skin feeling wonderfully plump and refreshed.
ConsWell, sometimes I do feel a bit of dryness after applying and letting it dry, though I'm not sure why that happens. Also, if you rub it with your hands, it might pill up like dead skin cells, so I recommend not touching your face after application. Other than that, I don't see any downsides.
TipPro tip... nothing special really. I recommend storing it in the fridge. But once you start refrigerating it, they say to keep it consistently chilled and not take it in and out. Also, don't apply too much, and I wouldn't recommend using it before makeup. It's best to apply it before going to bed.

The tube packaging makes it easy to use without any mess.
ConsMy skin reacted badly after using this. I was shocked to see blemishes appear even in areas where I don't usually get them. When I applied it generously at night, it felt uncomfortable and pilled like dead skin cells. It's as if it creates a film on your face. If you apply makeup over this, everything just pills up.
TipRecommended for those who want a hydrating gel but are allergic to aloe vera. (The ingredients are generally okay, but I might be overly sensitive.) It's great to apply generously after getting sunburned on vacation.

It's amazing for calming the skin when it's acting up - just apply it thickly like a mask and it really soothes! I have combination dehydrated skin, and usually wake up with an oil slick on my face. But surprisingly, on nights I use this, I don't wake up greasy at all. Maybe because it's so hydrating? While there are a few minor drawbacks, the benefits far outweigh them. It's a solid product overall - I've already finished a whole bottle!
ConsI don't really notice a cooling effect when applied normally. If you rub it in, it pills up a lot like dead skin cells.
TipI apply it generously on areas that need soothing, almost like a mask. Since it can pill, I don't use it before makeup, but prefer to use it before bed. It feels even better when you keep it in the fridge - so refreshing!

I love how it's not sticky but still moisturizing, making it perfect for light application both morning and night. The gentle ingredients didn't cause any blemishes or adverse reactions on my skin.
ConsWhen I apply this product without following up with an oil-based product (like an emulsion or cream), it forms a film-like layer on my skin that feels tight and peels off like dead skin cells. It works better when used in combination with oil-based products rather than on its own.
TipFor a comprehensive skincare routine, I recommend applying this after your toner, then finishing with an emulsion or cream in winter. This layering technique helps replenish deep hydration while keeping your skin's surface moisturized. In hot summer months, try cooling it before application to reduce skin temperature and discover its versatility!
