  Pros

  Although marketed as an essence, it has a bit of moisturizing power and a soft cream texture that's easy to apply. Personally, I've benefited a lot from this product. When I first used it, it felt a bit tingly and seemed incompatible, so I took a break. After my skin condition improved, I tried it again and found it worked well. It's particularly effective for small blemishes, and if you use it consistently for about 3-4 days, you can see the blemishes significantly subside.

  Cons

  When first adapting to it, you might feel a slight tingling and itching sensation. If you don't moisturize well, it can actually have the opposite effect, so you must apply a moisturizer afterwards.

  Pros

  After using this product, I noticed a reduction in skin roughness. I initially bought it to address blemishes, but while it didn't significantly improve those, it did have a smoothing effect on my skin. I also loved the scent and appreciated the compact packaging.

  With continued use, my skin became more sensitive. My face started to look a bit red, and I especially felt a burning sensation.

  Tip

  As I used it, I realized it was somewhat irritating, so I started mixing a small amount with my regular emulsion. This approach seemed to work well - it wasn't irritating, but still effective, so I continued using it this way.

  The texture is decent and the price is reasonable, but it wasn't that great among La Roche-Posay products.

  Cons

  Initially, I applied it all over my face without knowing better, but I had an allergic reaction and had to get a prescription from a dermatologist. My eyes swelled up, and I suffered from itching for days. I even had to get an allergy shot. While it might just be me, I noticed many other reviews warning sensitive skin types to avoid it. If you have sensitive skin, rather than starting with a small amount, I recommend testing it on the soft skin inside your wrist first. Even with a small amount, symptoms appeared for me within 30 minutes to an hour. I've never had such a bad experience with other products.

  Tip

  To avoid suffering like I did, please make sure to test it on your inner arm. Your skin is too precious to risk an allergic reaction for just a few dollars...

  I bought this because I suddenly developed severe millet-like blemishes on my forehead. After applying it morning and evening for just 3 days, all the blemishes disappeared!

  Cons

  When applied to areas with thin skin like the butterfly zone, it caused redness.

  Tip

  I wouldn't recommend using this on areas with thin skin due to the salicylic acid content. After using this, follow up with a light, hydrating cream that doesn't clog pores but provides adequate moisture. I personally used the Torriden Dive-In Low-Molecular Hyaluronic Acid Cream.
