I had some blemishes and pigmentation on my skin, but they've gradually started to fade. It's not like they disappeared dramatically. You need to use it consistently for a long time to see results. The way it absorbs is really nice, and although some say the scent isn't great, I actually liked the fragrance! It wasn't immediate, but about 1-2 minutes after application, my skin felt like it was burning from the inside. It became hot and tingling, so I had to wash it off and apply a thick layer of soothing cream to barely calm my skin down. I stumbled upon this product abroad and have been using it for 6 years now! It's my holy grail for blemishes. Even if you have good skin, it's great to keep one on hand as an emergency treatment. The only downside to this product is... it's always out of stock! Please import more of it. My wallet is taking a hit from stocking up on 3-4 at a time whenever it's available... If you apply a thick layer to areas where you feel a breakout coming on before bed, amazingly, the blemishes disappear or subside by morning. Applying a thin layer before makeup also gives a sense of protection! Here's my personal tip: When you already have a major breakout, use this essence as a spot treatment mask. Since it's not exactly cheap, using it liberally can be costly. Instead, apply a thick layer to the problem area, then cover it with kitchen plastic wrap for 10-20 minutes. You'll see visible improvement! If you don't have time for that, try this layering technique: After toner, apply a thin layer to problem areas, then layer on your essence, moisturizer, and another thin layer of this product. I have combination skin, but... honestly, I can't think of anything particularly good about this product. Oh well! I bought this to calm my blemishes, but it actually made them worse. I really bought it because it claimed to soothe skin in just 3 days, but alas! It's quite expensive too, which makes it even more disappointing. On the bright side, it does absorb quickly when applied, leaving a fresh feeling. Still, it didn't have the effect I was hoping for on my skin troubles. The product absorbs well and feels light on the skin, which could be good for those with oily skin types. However, it may not be suitable for those with sensitive skin or active blemishes. Consider patch testing before full application if you have reactive skin.
