The texture is smooth and absorbs well, and the product is firm enough that it doesn't crumble or break.
ConsI think the chronic issue with sunscreen sticks is hygiene. After applying, dust and debris stick to it, making me hesitant to use it again. But most of all, it leaves such a sticky feeling that I'm reluctant to reach for it.

I have a sun allergy, but when I use this, I don't get any allergic reactions even on days with strong UV rays.
ConsI didn't find anything disappointing about it. I was completely satisfied. It's great!

It has a pleasant scent and applies smoothly. The compact size makes it convenient to carry around.
ConsHowever, it tends to pick up small hairs when applied. While it's fine for personal use, some people might be hesitant to share it due to this issue.

It worked well even over makeup, which was great. Compared to other products, I didn't notice any change in my skin tone, which I liked. The lasting power was impressive too! Highly recommended!
ConsIf there's one slightly disappointing aspect, it's that it leaves a bit of a shiny finish after application... That's a minor drawback.

I apologize for the delay in writing, as I wanted to use the product for a while before sharing my thoughts. 1. No white cast. - If you're looking for a sunstick without a white cast, this could be perfect for you! There's absolutely none. 2. Mild fragrance. - The scent is so subtle that those who aren't particularly sensitive to fragrances might consider it unscented. It has a delicate, pleasant aroma. 3. Easy to control amount and apply. - I usually struggle with applying the right amount of sunscreen, often ending up with floating makeup. But with this, following the instructions for a quick application gives just the right coverage! Plus, there's no need to squeeze and pat it on - you can simply glide it across your face, which is super convenient! 4. Good ingredients. - This was my biggest concern, but the ingredients are quite impressive! My skin has been sensitive lately, so I was worried about blemishes, but with proper application, it doesn't seem to cause any issues. 5. Detailed instructions. - The packaging provides thorough guidance on how much to use, how to apply, and how often to reapply. As a sunstick newbie, I really appreciated the detailed explanations!
ConsThere aren't many downsides, but: 1. It... breaks... very easily. - I thought this sunstick would be sturdy like a glue stick, so I left it slightly raised when closing. But it got crushed against the cap! It's such a waste... 2. It's a bit oily. - Even when I apply it in thin layers as instructed, it still feels slippery. After sweating, it's like an oil slick! The light reflection on the skin is very noticeable... It looks like I've done a glass skin makeup. Other sunscreens don't seem to shine this much with the same amount...
Tip1. When closing, make sure to lower the stick completely! 2. When reapplying over makeup, try patting it on gently for best results!

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsThis is a review from The Hwahae Testers. In a nutshell, the best advantage is that there's no irritation at all. As a parent, I often have to rush out without proper skincare or even cleansing. Still, I need sun protection, so I quickly apply this on my bare face. Unlike some mineral sunscreens that can feel drying or cause slight itching and tingling sensations, this one feels comfortable even on bare skin - even around the eyes! That's why I think it would be fine to use on kids too. Another plus is the absence of artificial fragrances. Even if you sniff closely, there's only a very faint hint of what might be essential oils. The low shine is also great. While early sunsticks looked like oil balms, leaving a dewy finish that felt heavy even in winter, this one is invisible when applied - absolutely no white cast. Some powder-finish sunsticks require patting to blend in, which diminishes their main advantage. This one, however, doesn't shine like those with powder, yet leaves no marks like oil balm types.
ConsStickiness Many reviews said it wasn't sticky at all, but in my opinion... it's a bit sticky for summer use. I have combination skin with an oily T-zone and slightly dry U-zone. In summer, high humidity prevents my skin from feeling dry (which often leads to fine lines in transitional seasons due to neglect!). Of course, any base makeup feels sticky in summer weather. Still, even in air-conditioned indoor settings with a gentle fan, where you wouldn't normally sweat, this product is sticky enough that wisps of hair stick to my face when they brush against it. I think this would be perfect for winter use. Removal I'm not sure about it being easily removed with soap or body wash. I applied it to the back of my hand and tried washing with Dove soap (I use Dove instead of regular soap to avoid dryness), but there was still some oily residue that felt draggy. Since it's made by solidifying oils, double cleansing with an oil cleanser or micellar water followed by a foam cleanser would be best for removal. For kids, I think using a microfiber cloth with a cleansing product would work well.
TipIt's non-irritating, nearly fragrance-free, and moisturizing. I like applying it to my lips as well as my face. With its wax-based formula instead of silicone, it feels like a natural lip balm. I've heard that protecting your lips from UV rays can delay aging, and that even lip color can fade due to sun exposure. Since I find this product a bit sticky in summer, I think it would be perfect to use a lighter product all over the face and apply this specifically to areas needing more moisture, like around the eyes and on the lips.

Skin type: Dry (but not severely) Doesn't easily get blemishes. Design: It's a compact size that fits perfectly in my makeup pouch, so I've been applying it frequently while working these days! It's really convenient to carry around, making it great for outdoor use. Especially since I often spend long hours working outside, it can be hard to remember to reapply sunscreen. That's where this sunstick really comes in handy! Performance: With its high sun protection factor (SPF 50+, PA++++), I don't have to worry about my skin getting tanned, which is great. My biggest concern was that it might feel heavy and sticky, but compared to the Plant Base sunstick I had bought to try before, this one definitely applies more refreshingly and smoothly in terms of texture. The Plant Base sunstick felt like applying glue to my face, making my skin feel stuffy, but this one doesn't make my skin feel stuffy at all, and I can reapply it multiple times without any burden. I didn't realize the ingredients were this good when I first used it, but I'm really satisfied because it doesn't put any stress on my skin. Scent: What I liked most was the fragrance The pleasant scent makes me want to keep applying it... The fresh yet soft scent you smell when you first open the cap just puts you in a good mood when applying it.. Maybe it's because it's a scent I personally like, but it's like a mix of fresh fruit and floral scents that's not too strong, just subtle!! Overall: A high-performance sunstick that applies smoothly, lightly, and refreshingly / The pleasant scent improves my mood every time I apply it while on-the-go Will repurchase
ConsSo far, I haven't found any downsides. Overall, it left an impression of being versatile with excellent product quality.

The best thing about this product is that it's a sunstick that's also moisturizing. Because it's so hydrating, it glides on smoothly when applied. As someone with dry skin, I've sometimes found the dryness of other mineral sunscreens with good ingredients a bit overwhelming. If you have dry skin and are looking for a sunstick, I highly recommend this one. Another advantage is that it applies transparently. You can reapply it over makeup without any visible residue. The size is small, so it fits perfectly in your bag pocket, making it very portable! While the thickness is unavoidable, when viewed from the side, it's a bit slimmer than a regular card.
ConsThe transparent application, which is also an advantage, is slightly disappointing for me. My skin tends to be uneven in tone, so when I go out nearby, I usually use the white cast of sunscreen to even out my skin tone. This product doesn't provide any tone correction at all. However, this is just a personal preference and not really a drawback.
TipWhen applied to the face, it leaves a unique moisturizing film-like feeling, but when applied to the body, this sensation is less noticeable. It actually feels more comfortable than using a stiff sunstick. However, it does feel sticky to the touch, so it has its pros and cons. That's why I've deducted one star from my rating.

Compared to other sunsticks, it doesn't feel heavy and goes on smoothly. Usually, sunsticks can feel sticky, but this one doesn't at all! 🌸Skin-friendly ingredients Above all, isn't the ingredient list the most important? It doesn't irritate the skin and seems really good for it. 🌸Portability First of all, it's so compact, making it really convenient to carry around. The size is adorably petite too. 🌸Staying power The staying power isn't bad at all, better than expected actually.
Cons☹Pilling I tried using this sunstick as a base before makeup, and it pills a little. However, it's less noticeable compared to other sunsticks! I've tried many, but among sunsticks, this seems to be the best. Still, for pre-makeup application, liquid sunscreens are unbeatable... ☹Dust attraction Even though I just started using it after opening, it attracts dust so easily. This is a bit disappointing...

I used this when I went to the valley, and it's really hard to apply sunscreen frequently when you're out having fun. That's when I realized how great sun sticks are! I'd definitely recommend this for vacations! Usually, I don't apply sunscreen on my neck because I'm too lazy to cleanse it off, but this one doesn't leave marks on my collar and is easy to remove. That's a big plus as I can comfortably apply it on my neck too. It also absorbs well with a smooth application, which I love. I have super sensitive skin and can't use just anything, but I didn't feel any irritation on my face with this.
ConsI haven't tried other sun sticks, but for my oily skin, it felt a bit rich. The more I reapplied, the more oily it felt. I also tend to have a lot of heat on my face, and it seemed like my face was getting a bit warm, but that might just have been because of the weather!
TipFor those with oily skin, it might be good to follow up with a matte sunscreen or a light dusting of powder after using this.
