It seems to have a synergistic effect when used with other moisturizing products.
ConsWhen first using it, the texture might feel too heavy and the scent could be a bit strong, which might be off-putting for some.
TipFor maximum hydration, apply the emulsion, cream, and balm in that order.

The texture is quite unique.
ConsThe signature Burt's Bees scent isn't particularly pleasant. When I applied it, my baby seemed startled - I wonder if it caused a tingling sensation. Many others have reported a burning sensation too. I probably won't repurchase.

We've tried dozens of products since birth, but the best ones so far have been Burt's Bees and Baby Vaseline. When I apply Burt's Bees oil followed by this product, it seems to prevent dead skin cells from forming for about two hours.
ConsThere are small particles in this product that might irritate a baby's skin if applied directly. It's important to thoroughly melt the product in your hands before applying it to your baby.

ConsI tried it on myself before applying it to my baby, and I had an allergic reaction. My skin became red and rough, so I've only used less than half and now it's just sitting unused. It stings and hurts as if I'm wearing irritating makeup.
TipI wouldn't recommend this for people with super sensitive skin. While Burt's Bees is known for good ingredients, don't blindly trust that. Make sure to check the full ingredient list before purchasing.

ConsHowever, after using it for just one day, my entire face and body swelled up and turned red as if I was having an allergic reaction, which led me to this app. I hadn't introduced any new foods to my baby's diet, and this emulsion was the only thing I applied. When I woke up, I was shocked to find I had developed an allergic reaction all over my body. Please use this product with caution..
