ConsThe downside is that it has small particles, so you need to rub it in a bit.

ConsDue to its high oil content, it leaves a bit of a shiny finish. The granules don't dissolve quickly, so it feels slightly gritty before being absorbed.
TipMixing it with an emulsion reduces the shininess and fills in the dryness that the emulsion alone can't tackle, which is fantastic.

I was drawn to it being petroleum (vaseline-type) free!
ConsPerhaps due to the cold weather, the texture has changed slightly to small granules. While they do melt away when rubbed in, it might be uncomfortable to apply directly on sensitive skin.

We've tried dozens of products since birth, but the best ones so far have been Burt's Bees and Baby Vaseline. When I apply Burt's Bees oil followed by this product, it seems to prevent dead skin cells from forming for about two hours.
ConsThere are small particles in this product that might irritate a baby's skin if applied directly. It's important to thoroughly melt the product in your hands before applying it to your baby.

When I applied it to my 4-year-old son's dry areas like his face and elbows in winter, it made his skin moisturized and glowing. I also used it as a stretch mark cream for myself, and it prevented my skin from cracking. Neither my son nor I experienced any adverse reactions.
ConsWhile it feels moisturizing for a while after application, it doesn't absorb well. If you apply it to your face and then lie on a pillow, the cream can transfer onto the pillowcase. Also, the cream particles are large, so it feels grainy and rough when applying.
