I've been using this product for over a decade, nearly 11 years now. Initially, I applied it to my face without knowing better, but you should absolutely avoid using it on your face as it contains pore-clogging ingredients. I bought it at duty-free, so the price was reasonable. However, I probably won't repurchase it. It doesn't absorb well. The scent is also reminiscent of ointment, which I don't particularly like. That's why I deducted two stars. It works great when applied thickly to heels while wearing socks, or on areas with stretch marks. Mixing it half-and-half with hand cream is also an excellent way to use it. - yu*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 16, 2021
It's deeply moisturizing and the hydration lasts for a long time. While it's a bit disappointing that it contains fragrance, the scent is actually quite pleasant. The absorption is slightly slow, which is a bit of a letdown. However, I don't plan to apply a lot, so it doesn't really bother me. For tricky areas, I mix it with an emulsion before applying. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 19, 2020
I bought this at Olive Young because it's suitable for dry winter skin and safe for pregnant women and children. The texture is thick like an ointment, with a similar scent. I chose it hoping for more hydration than a body emulsion, but honestly, I'm not sure about the results. The downside is that it doesn't absorb immediately, so it can stain bedding and clothes. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedSep 17, 2020
When applied before bed, it's incredibly moisturizing and rich in oils, which I love thinking about as it deeply penetrates the skin. It's great for quickly soothing dry patches or eczema in winter. It's far too thick for everyday use. The texture is just too rich for my liking. Try applying it before bedtime! - eu********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 11, 2020
I tried this product for the first time today. As other reviews mentioned, it feels like a combination of oil and petroleum jelly. I recommend applying it before bed. The hydration seems like it will be incredible! You know how petroleum jelly makes your skin super shiny and slippery? That's the feeling I'm not too fond of with this product. Still evaluating... - go*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJun 14, 2020
As someone with dry skin, I struggle with deep dryness not just in winter, but even in summer. I was searching for a rich cream and decided to try this one after testing it. I absolutely loved the texture and bought it! The formula is like a combination of vaseline and oil, applying like an ointment with a sticky feel. Despite being a heavier type, it really locks in moisture and maintains a plump feeling for a long time. But don't worry, it doesn't just sit on top of the skin - it feels like it really adheres. In summer, I can use just a small amount of this alone under my makeup and still get that coveted Inner Glow! It's great that I can use it on both my body and face. While I didn't have any issues using the product, I do wonder if fragrance is really necessary in the ingredients. The scent seems to be a love-it-or-hate-it thing, but I personally didn't mind it. Still, I think it could have been fine as a fragrance-free product, so the inclusion of fragrance is a bit disappointing. Applying makeup over this gives such a beautiful glow! I think it'll be even more useful in winter. For facial application, it's better to use small amounts and adjust as needed rather than applying a lot at once. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedApr 28, 2020
The ultra-hydrating oil ingredients are fantastic. It's even suitable for applying on skin with blemishes. It feels heavy and greasy. I'm not sure why there's such a fuss about it... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 9, 2020
It's incredibly moisturizing, which would be great for extremely dry skin. The downside is that it has small particles, so you need to rub it in a bit. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 18, 2020
I bought this product on sale at Olive Young. Oh my goodness... why is it so good? I'm totally surprised by this product. I applied it to my mom's eczema on her finger, and it improved significantly. It also helped with removing dead skin cells on the soles of my feet. When I apply it to my hands, they become incredibly soft - it's an amazing product. I even use it on my lips. It seems to have tiny particles, but they all melt away as you apply it. If you see this on sale anywhere nearby, it's perfect as a multi-purpose balm. For portability, it's about the size of a fist, so it might be better to transfer some into a smaller container to carry around. Whenever I remember to apply it, my skin feels so soft and smooth. Hello, honey-like skin, I've been waiting for you! - de*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 14, 2019
Our 7-year-old son has sensitive skin and allergies, so during seasonal changes or when it gets cold, his face develops dry patches like eczema. We discovered this product by chance, and it's been amazing. After applying it, the next day, the eczema-like patches significantly improved, and his skin looked a bit more radiant. If you apply the right amount and spread it well, it absorbs nicely. I'm extremely satisfied! It's also great for heels, knees, and elbows. There's no major inconvenience, but if I had to point out something, it's that after a bath, when applied all over the body, clothes don't slide on easily. Still, since my child's skin tends to be very dry, I think I'll be reaching for this product every winter. If you warm it up by rubbing it between your palms, it melts nicely. Then, gently press it onto your child's face - this seems to be the right amount. I use any leftover on my own heels too.
