Pros
After using the Caudalie Brightening Serum, I was very satisfied with the purchased product. I have a fair complexion and some blemishes, so I had been using brightening products, but whenever I used brightening products, I would get a pimple or two, so this time I purchased it at the duty-free shop after seeing reviews that it is gentler and better. The fragrance and texture are very soft and gentle, which I liked.
Cons
This serum makes me wonder what it is for. First, when I apply it during the day, the formula just seems to peel off like flakes. It never fully absorbs throughout the day and just keeps peeling off. Even on the days I wear this serum and then use a cushion foundation, the cushion ends up looking patchy and white. Personally, I think just because an ingredient is good, it doesn't mean it's good for everyone's skin. And there's also an unnecessary fragrance in it, which is unfortunate. But since it's a gentle product, I kept applying it at night and sleeping in it, but my skin started to feel rougher and my skin texture got worse. On hot days, I even started getting flaky skin again, and my skin became red and irritated... It doesn't seem to be calming my skin after using it either. Seeing the remaining bottle, I just sigh... This is a failure.
Tip
Brightening serums are much better for dry, sensitive skin.

Pros
There was a soothing feeling, and while it didn't immediately feel moisturizing, it didn't feel dry over time either, which seemed better than other essences.
Cons
I used it together with a snail cream, but it keeps getting pushed off. I'm not sure if it's because it's not absorbing well or if the ingredients don't match with the snail cream.
Tip
Compared to other essences, this one feels more moisturizing. I've been using the Sulwhasoo Secret Essence for over 2 years, but I switched right over to the Caudalie essence, and it's definitely more moisturizing and better. However, when it gets pushed off, mixing it a bit with an oil helps it apply better.

Pros
The scent was actually quite pleasant to me. The ingredients are also quite good.
Cons
The formula is too watery and runny, so I'm doubtful about its ability to lock in moisture. When I only use this product, it feels like it's washed away the next day during cleansing. And although I expected a soothing effect, my skin ended up looking reddish and the texture seemed damaged. I bought two bottles at the duty-free shop because it was so highly recommended, but that was a waste. I'm just using it as a substitute for lotion on summer mornings now. It seems Caudalie and I just don't get along very well.

Pros
The scent is nice, and it only takes a small amount to care for it, so it's great.
Cons
The surface is oily, but the inside is dry, so I lack a lot of moisture. Even if I use it lavishly, it feels tight and the dead skin doesn't get washed off.
Tip
I absolutely love Caudalie's body products, but personally, the skincare doesn't seem quite right for my oily skin type. The cleansing lotion seems to be okay though.
