This serum is fantastic even for oily skin types. It has a very thin, runny emulsion-like texture that feels incredibly hydrating. It's absolutely amazing when used in combination with the sorbet cream. The quantity is small and it's quite expensive. It runs out quickly. Makes me wish I could shop at duty-free stores. Use it together with the sorbet cream. - ki*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 2, 2021
- Combination dehydrated, sensitive, blemish-prone (small bumps) skin - Late 20s / Female I originally used several bottles of the whitening line set, but last summer I bought this to use during the warmer months and finished one bottle. Even though my skin is super sensitive, Caudalie products never cause any blemishes, which is amazing! This product is no exception~ It's definitely less rich than the whitening line serum, making it great for combination dehydrated or oily skin types, and perfect for light summer use. After applying, you can feel the hydration boost, and it absorbs well when you pat it along your skin texture. I love that there's no greasy feeling after application, which made it ideal for summer use. However, it might feel too light for those with dry skin due to its lack of richness. I'm not sensitive to fragrances, so I didn't mind the scent at all! The price is a bit steep... I purchased mine through overseas shopping. It lacks oil content, so it doesn't seem to balance oil and moisture levels very well. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 23, 2021
I was so impressed by the noticeably improved texture of my skin when I woke up in the morning that I had to come write this review The price and amount... A lot comes out with one pump, and I apply it by placing it on different areas of my face. At this rate, I wonder how long it will actually last - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 24, 2020
This is perfect for winter when your face can get really dry. It's not heavy at all and absorbs instantly, which I love. I don't really have any complaints... It's just a bit on the pricey side. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 16, 2020
A reliable hydrating serum. I'm on my fourth bottle. Great value for money. I used to buy this at a great price from Costco in Canada, but they don't stock it anymore. I reluctantly purchased it from Sephora at a higher price, but I don't think I'll buy it again at that cost. Fortunately, I found a seller on Amazon offering it at a similar price to Costco, so I've stocked up with two bottles in advance. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedSep 3, 2020
This serum is incredibly hydrating and amazing! When I apply it after my skin has been irritated and sleep on it, I wake up to find my skin soothed and calmed, while also looking brighter. It really improves my complexion in daylight. I hope everyone tries it and finds their glow... it's a game-changer! While I wish the price was a bit more affordable, I do think it's worth the cost. However, I've heard some people mention buying it overseas for around $20 per bottle, so it seems it might be significantly more expensive here in Korea... If you use this along with the cream from the same SOS line, it seems you can achieve an even more thorough hydration. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedJun 9, 2020
It's more hydrating than I expected and absorbs well. The scent is pleasant, and it's perfect for light application in summer without causing any deep dryness. There's nothing to complain about except the price. It's great to use in all seasons except fall and winter. - qu*********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 25, 2020
The formula is translucent, white, and delightfully hydrating! When evenly applied with your hands, it absorbs thinly and leaves your skin feeling as fresh as if you've just washed it with water. The scent is subtle and sophisticated - reminiscent of grapes or wine perhaps? Whatever it is, it's not overpowering and has a lingering appeal that makes you want to keep inhaling. (Personally, I'd describe it as closer to a floral fragrance.) It feels wasteful to squeeze out a long strip and spread it all over your face. It'll be used up quickly, but you can't not apply it, and the price... well... For a win-win solution, try this: dispense some serum onto your palm, mix it with Caudalie mist, then pat it onto your face. This way, you'll conserve the serum while keeping your skin hydrated! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 4, 2020
I used to only apply toner and cream, skipping this product. But my skin still felt dry, so I decided to incorporate this serum. To my surprise, it kept my skin hydrated all night long! There's hardly anything to dislike about this holy grail product! While it's a bit on the pricey side, I'm still incredibly satisfied with it. - ha*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 7, 2020
The scent hits you right away when you apply it, but it doesn't linger too long, which is nice. I don't use it when my skin is super sensitive, but it absorbs well and has good application! My sister also loves it and uses it often. It leaves a matte finish and feels light, making it perfect for summer use as a serum. It might be too light and powdery for nighttime use though. The strong fragrance is a bit disappointing. If you're sensitive to fragrances, you might want to skip this one. When my skin is feeling sensitive, it can cause a slight tingling sensation. Also, it runs out quickly, so it might be hard to say it's good value for money...!
