The ultimate sunscreen destination... Etude's Pure Essence and Innisfree's Cica Sunscreen caused blemish explosions. Even Zeroid slightly triggered some. But this? It's the holy grail of sunscreens where those pesky bumps don't appear. I'm truly grateful... The price is a bit... sigh. Nothing else to say about it really. If you apply it after a good skincare routine, it won't dry you out. Mineral sunscreens are inherently drying. So, to avoid dryness, should you use chemical sunscreens? But then you might break out or get those tiny bumps, right? Just stick to a solid skincare routine and use this. It's far less drying than Innisfree's Cica sunscreen. - da*************Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMar 7, 2023
Among mineral sunscreens, this is my absolute favorite. I bought it on my dermatologist's recommendation, and if I didn't have to consider the price, it would be my top choice. Here's why I love it: 1. Being a mineral sunscreen, it's gentle on the skin and non-irritating. 2. Compared to other mineral sunscreens, it has minimal white cast and doesn't dry out the skin. 3. My skin feels comfortable even hours after application. I switched to a different brand's sunscreen because this one was too expensive. At first, I thought the application was similar, but... the dryness with the new one is really intense! The only downside is truly the price. It's a bit heartbreaking. Also, there aren't many places to purchase it from, so you often end up paying full price. - da******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 29, 2022
As someone with blemish-prone, super sensitive skin, I can use this sunscreen without worry! Inevitably, there's a slight white cast, but that's unavoidable with mineral sunscreens. Honestly, it doesn't bother me much. In fact, I like how it brightens my complexion after application. It's actually a plus! - ka*******Normal SkinRecommendedDec 27, 2022
It absorbs smoothly without leaving any white cast and isn't irritating to the skin. When applying makeup, it feels slightly heavy on the skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 23, 2022
It absorbs without feeling sticky and evens out the complexion nicely. It's perfect for summer use. I love that it doesn't cause any blemishes. For those with dry skin, it might feel even more drying. It can have a slightly tight feeling on the skin. It works well when mixed with products that have a bit of color. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJun 4, 2022
It's my holy grail! Even with oily skin, there's no shine or greasiness. The price is... wickedly high... I can't slather it on freely. I'll use something else for my body. - ya*******Combination SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMay 19, 2022
No stinging, itching, stickiness, or discomfort. I have milia on my face, but this doesn't cause additional blemishes. There's a slight white cast, so I can go out with just this sunscreen on. It's a product that excels at the basics. The regular price is expensive. I stock up when there are events on the Dr. Eslee website or discounts on Coupang. If you apply too much, it can leave a white cast. Squeeze an appropriate amount onto a puff and spread it evenly for smooth application without pilling. - hi*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedApr 25, 2022
My skin is combination dehydrated with super sensitive skin prone to blemishes - oily on the nose, forehead, and chin, while normal to dry on the cheeks. Depending on the season and my skin condition, it fluctuates between dryness, sensitivity, and excessive oiliness. I discovered Dr. Eslee products through samples from my local dermatologist when I went for acne treatment. They suited my skin well, so I now purchase them from the official store or after price comparisons. Dr. Eslee's sunscreen: Color: Light white - The mineral ingredients give a slight white cast that enhances the skin tone beautifully Texture: Fluid emulsion consistency, suitable for rubbing or patting in - Applying it after skincare seems to prevent moisture loss and excess oil, resulting in fewer pore issues and blemishes compared to not using it It also helps improve the longevity of Dr. Eslee's BB cream No stickiness No transfer No irritation No heavy feeling For these reasons, I've been liberated from my sunscreen nomad days and am on my third repurchase. It's not the most budget-friendly option. I'd love to see a larger size available for purchase. I find it applies better when I dot it on different areas of my face, then gently pat and blend. I use it after Dr. Eslee's water gel, but if you're using other brands for your skincare routine, I'd recommend applying it after a hydrating base - this might help if you find it drying, depending on your skin type. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 22, 2022
I've been using this for 5 years now. It's great for evening out my skin tone and doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy. I can't think of any downsides. It seems to be all good! If I had to nitpick, maybe it's slightly rich? - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 17, 2021
I discovered this product at my dermatologist's office and have been using it consistently. My skin tends to be super sensitive, but I've been able to use this without any blemishes. I love that it's not sticky at all. There's a white cast effect, so if you apply too much, your face can look overly pale. It also has a tendency to clump, so you need to spread it carefully.
